Puffed hullcorn was a type of food edible to Alcedians, humans, and Zabraks. While in their Lonisa City Zoo hideout^[1] in 229 BBY,^[2] the Jedi Ram Jomaram, Kildo, and Tep Tep shared a wooden bowl of the hullcorn with their newfound colleague, the pirate Zyle Keem. Keem placed a clump of the food in their lap and licked their fingers, teasingly throwing a piece of it toward Kildo, who caught it in his mouth.^[1]

Puffed hullcorn appeared in Escape from Valo, a 2024 junior novel written by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[1] Phase III.^[3]
