A power prybar was a type of prybar tool. While on the Outer Rim planet Valo^[1] in 229 BBY,^[2] the Jedi youngling Tep Tep smashed a power prybar against the guardrail of the Parse family's treadtruck, which was bent out of place. She eventually repaired the vehicle's guardrail with brute force, announcing her success to her crew, the Scarlet Skulls.^[1]

Behind the scenes[]

In the current Star Wars canon, a power prybar appeared in Escape from Valo, a 2024 junior novel written by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[1] Phase III.^[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the tool was first introduced in the 1980 novel Han Solo and the Lost Legacy, which was written by Brian Daley.^[4]
