Nar Hida was a Luptoomian[2] human[1] who left the planet Coruscant as a freighter tramper on board the AA-9 Freighter-Liner Jendirian Valley[2] in 22 BBY.[3] The freighter took off from Westport on Coruscant headed for the Mid Rim planet Naboo.[2] During the journey, Hida traveled in the cargo hold where[4] he[2] sat by one of the starship's walls as[4] flatcakes[5] were being served to passengers.[4] He wore a spiked green cloak[1] and was recognizable by his Luptoomian fashion, which made him more noticeable than other passengers like the Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padmé Amidala, who were both disguised as peasants.[2] He had light skin and blue eyes.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Nar Hida appeared in the 2002 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[4] The scene was filmed in the art department depot of building 48 at Fox Studios, Sydney.[6] In the current Star Wars canon, the character was identified in "AA-9 Coruscant Starfreighter," an article published in the "Starship Fact File" department of the magazine Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 50,[2] which was written by Tim Veekhoven[7] and published around December 16, 2015.[8]

The name originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where the character was first identified by Gregory Walker,[9] under the username "NarbFlick," through the StarWars.com Hyperspace feature "What's The Story?"[10] in an entry published on September 28, 2006.[11]
