"More eager than nervous. I plan to take the chief of state through the three elements of my plan for improving the lives of the people of the Bormea sector: infrastructure investment, deceased corporatism, and equal representation for both colonists and homeworlders."
―Mon Mothma, in an interview with Bormea Today[6]

The Bormea sector was a sector in the Core Worlds of the galaxy. It contained the Chandrila system and its planets, including Chandrila; the planet Brentaal IV, located at the crossroads of the Hydian Way and Perlemian Trade Route; and the dangerous Ringali Nebula.

Description[]

The Bormea sector was located in the Core Worlds region.[1] The Chandrila system, which contained at least seven planets, including Chandrila and Sissubo, was located in the sector.[3] Brentaal IV, located at the junction of two major hyperspace lanes, the Hydian Way and Perlemian Trade Route,[5] was also located in the sector.[7]

The sector also contained the dangerous Ringali Nebula,[2] which housed the shattered moon Galitan.[3] The space station Nadiri Dockyards were also located in the sector.[4]

History[]

After she was elected as senator of Chandrila, Mon Mothma said in an interview with Bormea Today that she hoped to take the chief of state through the three elements of her plan to improve the lives of the people of the Bormea sector.[6]

Following the Battle of Endor, the sector was controlled by the New Republic and was the home of the Nadiri Dockyards.[4]

During one of stormtrooper FN-2187's mandatory morale sessions, he viewed a holoprojector displaying a news story about a First Order Navy victory in the Bormea sector.[8]

Behind the scenes[]

In the current canon, the Bormea sector was mentioned Before the Awakening, a junior novel written by Greg Rucka and published in 2015.[8]
