- "I remember the day we were forced to give you up in order to protect the clan."
- ―Mother Talzin
The mother of Asajj Ventress was a female Dathomirian Nightsister who lived on the planet Dathomir some time before the Invasion of Naboo.
Biography[]
A Dathomirian Nightsister from Dathomir, Asajj Ventress's mother was a member of the Nightsisters clan led by Mother Talzin. In 50 BBY[2], she gave birth to a daughter, Asajj Ventress; however, she was forced to give her up to the Siniteen criminal Hal'Sted to protect the clan, something which was painful for both her and Mother Talzin, the clan's leader. Her daughter eventually returned to the clan after growing up and became a Nightsister herself.[1]
