In early 2375, the Romulan Star Empire constructed a hospital on Derna, a moon of Bajor. They also placed several plasma torpedo launchers, but were unable to bring them online due to a Bajoran blockade. (DS9: "Image in the Sand", "Shadows and Symbols")
Later the same year, Ensign Nog and the survivors of a Dominion assault on AR-558 were taken on the USS Veracruz to a hospital on Starbase 371. (DS9: "The Siege of AR-558")
In the writers' first draft script of ENT: "Dear Doctor", a "Research Hospital" on Denobula was established as the facility where Doctor Phlox had done his training and was now where Dr. Lucas was doing a fellowship. In a letter to Dr. Lucas, Phlox pointed out that many of the hospital's patients originated from nearby Kaybin bars. The hospital isn't mentioned at all in the final version of the episode.
In the first draft script of ENT: "Fusion" (which had the working title "Equilibrium"), Trip Tucker and his brother were referred to, in Trip's dialogue, as having required, one Halloween during their childhood, to be taken to a hospital by their mother so they could have their stomachs pumped because they had eaten too much candy after going trick or treating.
