The University of Nairobi was a prominent university on Earth, located in the city of Nairobi, in East Africa.
Both of Nyota Uhura's parents had taught there. She had intended to study alien languages there, but a week before she was to start, her parents and older brother died in a shuttle accident. (SNW: "Children of the Comet")
