Zodu Onglo was arrested on Level 1671.

The Pau'an male criminal Zodu Onglo[2] was born in the year 7928 C.R.C. In 7951 C.R.C.,[1] when they were twenty-three years old,[2] Onglo was apprehended for aggravated assault on Level 1671 of the planet Coruscant by the Coruscant Security Force after a botched attempt to sell a cache of stolen weapons. Lieutenant Tanivos Divo of the CSF questioned witnesses while Onglo was led away from the scene of the crime in binders by a masked officer of the underworld police.[2]

Further investigation by Divo uncovered a connection between the Pau'an and the Wandering Star criminal syndicate based out of Level 1313. Divo's casefile on the arrest of Onglo later came into the possession of the lieutenant's grandson Exantor Divo. He included information from the file and an image of Onglo's arrest in Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious, a book he compiled during the reign of the New Republic on police work carried out by three generations of his family,[2] publishing it in 34 ABY.[3]

Personality and traits[]

Onglo had white skin and black eyes.[2]

Equipment[]

At the time of his arrest, Onglo wore a dark brown tunic with gold patterning, with green pants and white boots.[2] As was typical for most Pau'ans,[4] Onglo wore circular ear coverings[2] due to their species's extremely sensitive hearing.[4]

Behind the scenes[]

Zodu Onglo was created for the 2018 sourcebook Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo. The image of Onglo included in the book was illustrated by Ronan Le Fur.[2] Prior to the book's release on October 23, Onglo was revealed in a blog post detailing the book on StarWars.com on August 29 earlier that year.[5]

  3. The latest entries chronologically in Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious are dated to 8011 (C.R.C. date) and gives 7977 (C.R.C. date) as the year that the secret mission to Tatooine took place. As Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the mission to Tatooine to 0 BBY, 8011 C.R.C. must therefore correspond to around 34 ABY. Scum and Villainy also mentions Hosnian Prime as still being capital of the New Republic, meaning the in-universe Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious must have been published prior to the destruction of the planet, which Galactic Atlas dates to 34 ABY. As the publishing must have occurred between the time of the latest entries and the destruction of Hosnian Prime, it therefore also took place around 34 ABY.
