Veedaaz Awmetth was a male individual of a species native to Sarrish who served in the Sarrish Defense Force^[4] and represented the Vensensor sector in the Galactic Senate.^[2]

After the formation of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, he was among the mourners at the funeral of Senator Padmé Amidala.^[5]

Behind the scenes[]

Veedaaz Awmetth was a character portrayed by Nicholas Ferguson for Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith,^[3] however he never made it into the final release of the film.

Dave Elsey, the creature shop creative supervisor for Episode III, based Awmetth's appearance on an initial design of Darth Sidious.^[3]
