User Page[]

Hi! I had a look at your page and it looks good. Its nice to see that your user boxes are in a controlled organised manner...As some people's are all over the place... The fanon is cool and I like the fact that your favorite Sith is Exar Kun. I dunno if you'd like a colored background or anything like that at all...Cos if you did I would be happy to help...You're choice though really. Thanks for checking out my page: Jagged Fel, (Yo!)JagFel

  • Ok, Well a guy named Vladius Magnum created a tutorial for signatures. If you take a look at that, it should show yoi exactly how to make one. But if you need any more help, just ask.

The tutorial is here: Signature Tutorial. Once again if you have any problems, feel free to contact me. Also, you might like to look at some other people's signatures to compare. For instance Here's mine. Jagged Fel, (Yo!)JagFel

  • Oh, uhm I kinda wrote a whole story in your guest book sorry :p either way I just wanna remind you that I like it the quotes and all you schoudl perhaps look for some images to fill the story up a bit more, and I previously wrote a few things that could become better this and that and just forget that the story is good :D because not every fanfic schoudl just need to fit in the Galaxy I like your page keep it up ;)PS: this is already now the third time I leave you a message I just don't want you to get a bad idea about me because of my opinion :p haha, your story would work better if your character would remain a bit more mysterious because now it's just a person but acts like a god or something if you wanna make it more believable that he has doen all those things and has lived so long perhaps then you schould indeed make him a God... Galedze(Connection Trough The Force) 15:03, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Wow thanks for the Cookie first cookie ever! :D :p haha, either glad you see my point well you could do it, however you schould well let me put it this way for example right now in your Fanfic it looks as if the Jedi and Sith are just some play dolls for your character that might eb so in power but the Jedi and Sith are basicly the two most influencial forces in the galaxy and now it looks as if they are but toys to your character and then another example your character manipulated all the key figures over the galaxy for over thousands of years but he wassent able to stop Palpatine from executing Order 66?, what you eventually could do is stop letting your character manipulate all the key characters and let him and his Order observe and only act when need be, let them become a sort of Whills.Galedze(Connection Trough The Force) 11:50, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
    • The layout of the page is nice, and there aren't too many userboxes like some users. The biggest thing would be to change some of the redlinks at the bottom- an easy thing to do. As for the story, well, to be honest, I'm not a big fan, and I personally prefer fanon to be moved to a subpage. But that's just my take on it. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 19:55, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  • That could be I myself don't do so as I try to limit my story over the pages I only take 1 page my own user page and the fact I don't even know how to make subpages :p haha, either way Jeth you schould just work on your story between making an edit here and there on canon articles, at least thats how I work, oh and check out my page new sections.Galedze(Connection Trough The Force) 10:39, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Sorry its taken me this long to reply, i've been a'lil busy. Thx for what you said about my page. I love yours man, trully. Thats litrally what I want my page to look like with the bio, quotes and stuff! you got some sick quotes especially that one about the mastery of both side of the force. I take it your fan of KOTOR then? See you around...

Awsome page[]

I saw your page it is awsome.Could you drop by my page sometime?Skillwarrior 00:11, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Your page isnt asesome. I lied. Ilike doing that. >:( --Skillwarrior 04:07, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Awesome[]

Your page is so awesome! I am not like skillwarrior and lie to everyone and not be their friend. He is a jerk! Anyway, I'm glad you like my page! I would like another friend too! Don't worry, I'm not like Skillwarrior. --JakerlComplain hereStuff I did 04:13, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Both you (Jakerl) and Skillwarrior need to knock it off. If I or another admin catch you in a personal attack like that again, you will be banned. I suggest you go work on our articles rather than having userpage comparisons, as that is the purpose of Wookieepedia. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 19:51, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Ididn't lie[]

Don't panic[]

  • The reason your quote nomination was deleted was that it was recently added to the QOTD queue. Wookieepedia:Quote of the Day/5 July 2007. Enochf 23:36, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
    • Wow, so the quote I nominated won already? Oh, and also, why does it keep deleting me when I add my vote since it wasn't there? JethLordMaster (Talk) 16:44, June 11 2007 (UTC-8)
      • No, no. Somebody else nominated it a while back, and after a week or so it got +10 votes and was added to the queue. Voting is closed. Enochf 02:04, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Userpage vandal[]

Fanon[]

Dialog-error

Your fan fiction is over 250 words long.

Your userpage currently breaches the officially adopted limit of 250 words for fanon works. Please trim it down to an appropriate length over the next two weeks, or steps will be taken.

You may find that the Star Wars Fanon Wiki is more suited to your fanoneering needs.

Please be aware that if you refuse to comply, you may be blocked from editing in the future for a fanon word limit breach.

Userpage vandalism[]

Re: Brianna GAN[]

Hey, no problem. Yeah, all of the romance stuff definitely goes in the Bts since the romance isn't canon. The whole Echani rituals with Atton and Kreia's comments I took to mean that they noticed that Brianna was "hitting on" the Exile. It's just a note of trivia. I think a sentence or two should take care of it. I've just noticed lately that the AC want you to be as detailed as possible. With the Team Gizka content you can follow the links and the examples I have up on Visas Marr. I'm trying to push her through GAN as well. If you add in any additional cut content or whatnot to Brianna, then I can go into the game DLG tlk files and find your sources. I just need to know what you specifically want me to look for. Anything else you want to ask, just let me know. Cylka-talk- 02:44, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Thanks for wishing me luck. I hope she goes through eventually. I know, the articles are a mess. Its good that someone else is taking an interest in KotOR. There really are too few of us around here. I don't really think you need to expand the romance. The only thing I would suggest is adding on to this sentence At some point the Exile asked Brianna to teach her Echani fighting techniques, and over the course of their journey they sparred three times, each time learning more about each other and became closer [to the point that other crew memebers such as Kreia and Atton noticed and commented on.] - something like that. Just to kind of show that she really was starting to fall for the Exile. Let me know when you want me to go into the dialog files. You might also want to look at this link. I've got the source for that. If you want I'll be able to add that in quickly for you. If I happen to run into anything else I'll let you know. Cylka-talk- 03:09, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
  • I finished sourcing everything and added a couple of new references. I'm going to check up on that gameplay glitch with killing Brianna just to see if I can get an outside source for that, even though I know it happens in the game, since it happened to me. If you need more help, you know where to find me. :-) Cylka-talk- 06:50, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
    • BTW, in order that everything is kept nice and tidy, could you mark that you addressed my objections. I know you did and you let me know on my talk page, but it should also be marked on the GAN page. I can strike my objections then. Cylka-talk- 06:57, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Congratulations Jeth! Glad to see another KotOR article become a GA :-) Cylka-talk- 04:24, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Visas GAN[]

Hey Jeth. Thanks for your help with the objections for Visas. You did a good job with them and it saved me some time and hassle. Cylka-talk- 21:31, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

The Hunter-Killer[]

Yo Jeth. My name's NaruHina and I'm glad to see you want to GA HK-47. However, I think you're setting your goals to low. HK needs to be FA'd and I want to help. To gear up for it, I'll super source the article. Lemme know if you see other things you want done while you're working on Brianna (Nice job by the way) and Cylka is working on Telos. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 03:10, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Brianna[]

She has not yet passed GAN, she has only been approved by AC vote. She still needs about 5 more votes to pass. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 01:33, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

  • You are not allowed to remove things from talk pages, especially user ones. And I'm just telling you. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 01:49, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
  • You are right about the number you need, but Im reviewing it and you currently have 1 objection. As well, don't call it a win and delete the nom thing on the page. The person who purges the GAN page will do that for you and then you celebrate, do a little dance, then get down that night.
  • How does that confirm it? She doesn't even appear in that set. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 02:23, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Well that takes TSL another peg down my list, I'll review it fully at my next oppotunity. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 02:43, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Congratualtaions. Next time, remember to place it under the good article sections on the project page, however. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 19:17, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Bai-Hei[]

Almost out of complete curiosity, why did you use the name 白黑 (white-black) and then have a red and blue symbol? Just inquiring, cause it's been bugging me for a day. And yes I read Chinese—I was born in Hong Kong. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 02:18, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

  • I was never implying that the name was bad, in fact, even though it didn't make much sense, I thought it had quite a ring to it. Besides, practically no-one would know it was contradictory because, like you, I haven't met many Chinese people here. In fact, I think I liked it better—the contradiction makes it more mysterious. But that's just my thoughts, what you like is your own choice. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 02:40, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

WP:KOTOR[]

Please, by all means, sign back on with the project. There is no test, and in any case, your work on Brianna is certainly welcome.--Goodwood Redstarbird (Alliance Intelligence) 06:50, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Hey Jeth. This is just to let you know that there will be a project meeting for WP:KOTOR on Saturday, 31 January, 2009 at 0:00 UTC. More information can be found here. Cylka-talk- 17:30, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
    • Hey Jeth. Sorry I'm posting the logs in a few minutes, and I'll make up the minutes too. I'm on the IRC a lot so you can always come in there and check. As for project leader, Goodwood and Graestan asked me to take over the position, so I guess I'm it. And good luck with Brianna too. Cylka-talk- 03:03, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Brianna FAN[]

Hey Jeth. I just wanted to let you know that I left you some improvement suggestions for Brianna. I also wanted to say that I can take care of my objections regarding the Bts for you, if you would like. I just didn't want to do any major overhauls to the article before you had a chance to look over what I had said. I can also help with anything else if you'd like. I have a feeling that clearing up the Bts will help with Graestan's objections as well. Anyway, I should be around in IRC, and we can talk it over a bit more then. The article is looking good, there are just a few adjustments that I think should be made. Talk to you soon. Cylka-talk- 20:15, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

  • Alright Jeth, I've finally uploaded a few screenshots of Brianna. You can take a look at them photo bucket dot com )/albums/oo58/Cylka118/ here. If you see any you like, let me know which ones and I can upload them to the site after I crop and clean them up a bit. Otherwise, if you have any ideas about a shot you would like, let me know. BTW, she is wearing Arren Kae's robe and wielding her staff.  :-) Cylka-talk- 04:56, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
  • No problem, Jeth. I'll get a couple of shots, and let you know when I have them. It may take a couple of days since I just got over being sick, and I'm bogged down with prior requests and GAN/FAN page responsibilities. Cylka-talk- 00:41, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

HK GAN[]

Hey Jeth. I just finished leaving a list of objections on HK's GAN. Unfortunately, it's a bit long. The biggest problem that I see is a lot of missing information from KotOR II. I'll try to start adding in info from KotOR II as I can, since I think I have pretty much finished Force cage, so I have a little extra time. I do have to update Celeste Morne, though, as she will be up for probing at the AC meeting next week, and I would like to try to avoid that. Anyway, the POV issues are very minor now and the article is well on its way. Start in on which ever objections you can, and I'll add in whatever I can. Don't worry, the list looks worse than it is. We'll get rid of it in no time ;-) Cylka-talk- 12:03, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

HK-47[]

Hey, good job with the article. You might want to mention his "unusual" take on love, and the fact that the Droid Assassin's rifle, which is used by HK-47, is canon, per The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia--Jedi Kasra (talk) 15:51, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Brianna in CSWE[]

I've got the CSWE, and I'll be happy to look Brianna up in it for you. Assuming nobody else has already got the info for you by the time I get home from work tonight, I'll let you know what's in there. DolukTalk 21:46, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

  • OK, here's the complete entry on her from the CSWE (page 93):
An Echani Handmaiden who served the Jedi Knight Atris almost 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. She was the daughter of politician Yusanis and Jedi Master Arren Kae, veterans of the Mandalorian Wars. Brianna was born with evidence of her parents' infidelity and bore the stigma of this indiscretion. Brianna stole the freighter Ebon Hawk from Telos IV.
That's all there is. Hope it helps! DolukTalk 05:43, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
    • Thanks for the Wookiee Cookie! DolukTalk 18:31, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Quote on Malak article[]

  • Hey, Jeth, just got some bad news. I replayed the game, and the first quote is also non-canon, as Malak also says it to a dark-sided Revan, which is leading me to strike it. So we only have two quotes to work with, unless someone can pull up some interesting quote that his apparation says in the second game.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 16:33, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

RFB[]

Jeth, it means a lot that you voted for me. I must thank you. You put in a lot of time on the site, and don't give up once you've invested in something. Let me know in the future if there's anything I can do for you. Graestan(Talk) 18:06, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Brianna[]

Just to let you know there are still outstanding objections on Brianna from me. --Eyrezer 05:09, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

  • Hi Jeth. Thanks for your patience in my having another look at my objections to Brianna. I'm satisfied with two of them, but I've also added one more. Kepe up the good work, though. --Eyrezer 10:24, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: HK-47 in SWG[]

Hi Jeth, HK-47, like most characters in Star Wars Galaxies (minus Han Solo and Darth Vader on Tansarii Point Station), did not have a voice actor. As for the quote I will try to find a good one and get back to you soon. If you ever need to know anything else about SWG just ask, I can probably help. -- Fett 1138 JaingHead (HoloNet Transceiver) 01:48, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

  • I may have found a good quote for HK-47 from SWG, I haven't had time to run HK-47 lately so I got that from a video. There's a lot here so I'd suggest you pick out the good parts...
Your resistance is most entertaining meatbag. Request: Can I call you friend? I do want to thank you for all you have done for me up to this point. As a parting gift, you may tell me the name of some meatbag that you do not like and I will personally kill them. Oh why not, I'll throw in the rest of their family for free. But first, we have a little business to settle ourselves.

RE: HK Refs[]

Don't worry about it. They're quite quick and simple to do when you've learned how. Use for the first instance and replace <ref name="REF"> with just <ref> if it is only used once. Just put if it used later. Put any refs inside blah when they're in the infobox. When using templates like Cite web or DB then just follow the same rules; they go in the same place as SOURCE and are used later in same way as normal. I hope this helps, NayayenOld Republic military symboltalk 15:12, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

HK-47[]

Please note that objections made to your HK-47 FA nomination have gone unaddressed for two weeks now. If they are left there for another week, by Inq policy, the nomination will be removed for inactivity. CC7567 (talk) 02:37, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

There are three cards that depict HK-47, you can view them here: http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/tradingcardgame/images/loot_cards/tnr/full/hk_droid_poster.jpg, http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/tradingcardgame/images/loot_cards/tnr/full/hk47_mustafar_diorama.jpg, http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/tradingcardgame/images/loot_cards/tnr/full/hk47_statuette.jpg. The Diorama card in game has an additional sentence of the lore: "He sought vengeance against those who had taken his body from him and decided that meant any and all organic forms of life." Please make sure that this information, in addition to those you can see on the pictures I linked to, is reflected in the article. MauserComlink`

Tramp freighter cross

The Tramp Freighter Cross

I, Cylka, hereby bestow upon you, JethLordMaster, the The Tramp Freighter Cross Award for taking Brianna, Wookieepedia's first article, to Featured article status. The amount of work that you put into the article certainly makes you very deserving of this award. I am only sorry that it took me so long to recognize you for your effort! I hope that you will continue to keep up the good work as you have been a valuable asset to WP:KotOR. Cylka-talk- 23:59, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

Re: HK-47 FAN[]

Inq consensus was gained over IRC to strike the objections, so that should clear that up. Please note that you have two remaining objections from me at the moment. CC7567 (talk) 00:00, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

  • I believe that it either got fixed somehow and I didn't notice when I noted it in the edit summary or that I just miscounted somehow. Anyway, you have my vote; good work. Hopefully the following Inq reviews will catch anything that I might have missed. CC7567 (talk) 04:17, February 25, 2010 (UTC)
    • It just came to my attention that one objection still remains, as I have pointed out. Please fix it ASAP so that it can be resolved without conflict, as it's about to reach the three-week inactivity period. Since I'm assuming that you just never saw it, I won't press the matter if it's fixed promptly and will give you the benefit of the doubt. CC7567 (talk) 08:06, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

IRC[]

Hey Jeth. I'm glad that you were able to sort it all out. Recently, Wookieepedia IRC has been subject to impostors attempting to vandalize our channels, so we've had to enact some stricter security measures. Hope to see you on IRC soon. Cylka-talk- 20:57, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

  • Heh, cognrats from me as well. And then onto warnings. :P According to our user page policy, user created fanon is restricted to 250 words, while yours is around 300. So you may want to cut down on it a bit. :) Cheers. -- 1358 (Talk) 12:26, May 17, 2010 (UTC)
    • No problem, my man! Let me remove my name and add yours to the list. I'm working on a lot of other projects, so don't hesitate to work on them. BTW, I'm working on Bastila and Satele, though I'm waiting for the TPB and comics to come out before I do any majot overhauls on Satele. I'd also like to take the opportunity to formally invite you to help me work on Revan's article. I have a sub-page which is where I'm working on the article. You're a extremely capable editor, and I believe your help, along with the others I've invited, can go a long way to getting Revan to FA status; I eventually plan to nom him, and hope you can co-nom Revan with me.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 18:03, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
      • Excellent, glad to have you aboard. If you have any queries about changes that need to be made, or anything, just contact me or post on the sub-page's talk page. Great to be working with you!--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 18:34, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

Battle of Alderaan Jedi[]

Would you mind if I upload a couple of new images for her article? The one of her dueling Malgus has her back turned, and I'd replace it with one of her battling her way through the hordes of Sith Warriors to get to Malgus. The Force Burst image is a little blurry, I'd replace it with another image of her demonstrating one of her powers/abilities/skills to replace it. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 18:31, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • Oops sorry, definitely didn't read the notice on your page until AFTER posting, so here it is again:

Hey excellent timing! I was just starting to look around for someone to upload more suitable images! I was just making use of what was already online since I'm not much of an image person but please, feel free to update and improve the images, I'd greatly appreciate it! Revan[]

No, everything you've done looks good. One thing I wanna do is remove the Malachor image, since that is from the second game, and place the image where Revan and Malak find the Dantooine Star Map. The image, I feel, would be better served being placed there. When we're ready to put this on the main page, that info will be there, so I'm not too worried about that. What I'm worried about is people who'll edit it during the nom process, though we'll have to cross that bridge when we get to it.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 23:13, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • I actually talked with Cylka about our project with Revan, this info will be interesting, my man!—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 04:09, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

Re: HK[]

No problem. If you find it needs further protection after this one expires, or if any other articles require it, just let me know. Toprawa and Ralltiir 00:12, September 6, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Carth Onasi[]

Hey Jeth. I've watched the video as well and probably the only new info that could be included is him returning home to Morgana and Dustil. Not much else is new. Hope this helps. Cylka-talk- 07:53, September 12, 2010 (UTC)

Canderous Ordo[]

Hey, JethLordMaster,

Do you plan to continue working on Canderous Ordo? I'm only asking because the inuse tag is still up but edits haven't been made on it in about 2 weeks. If you do then cool, but if not, please remove the inuse tag. Thanks,Tommy 9281 00:53, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

  • If you want a pre-nom review for Ordo, let me know.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 00:57, September 15, 2010 (UTC)
    • Alright, I'll give you a review soon, on here. For Revan, I've been concentrating on getting the Star Map quest detailed, so that's a good place to start.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 06:20, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
      • OK, been a little busy, but it's all good, now. I'll have that pre-nom review for you by tomorrow, will also perform a minor copy-edit.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 03:45, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
        • OK, review's coming tomorrow. Been a crazy week, but that's no excuse.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 01:30, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

Review[]

OK, here's my first review. If you have any questions, just ask.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 06:27, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

  • One thing I wanted to ask…any reason why this isn't moved to "Mandalore the Preserver?" All other articles Mandalores whose titles are known are under their names as Mandalore, i.e., Mandalore the Indomitable, Mandalore the Ultimate, Mandalore the Vindicated. The latter is a good example, since both his real name and his title are known. It seems to me that Ordo forsook his name and embraced the title of "Mandalore the Preserver." You might want to ask Cylka about this. Of course, use Ordo's name in the Legacy section, when talking about the ARC and the assault tank.
    • Alright, I'll bow to Cylka's better expertise on this. Keep this in mind, though.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 02:14, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
  • One other thing, after I finish my review, you might want to ask Cylka for a review as well, in order for the nom process to go faster.
  • Intro: Pipelink the link to First Jedi Purge, this is a conjectural title, so this is what needs to be done. "The Sith's assassination campaign against the Jedi" is a suggestion.
  • In the infobox, it states that he was affiliated with the Jedi Order. Non-Force-sensitives are not usually listed as being affiliated with either Order, so could you omit?
  • You might want to add an extra citation to the affiliation to the Republic. The Holonet's entry on Mandalore will do. The citation is located at the end of the 2nd paragraph of the "Legacy" section.
  • Using the template for any other references other than the infobox and the succession box is unnecessary, please remove all instances of this.
  • "Ordo's success in reuniting the scattered clans was instrumental in bringing the Mandalorians back to prominence after their defeat in the Mandalorian Wars, and without his efforts there would have been no reason for Jango Fett, and later Boba Fett, to don the Mandalorian armor." I don't know if you can include the part which says that the Fetts wouldn't have any reason to wear the armor without Ordo's success.
  • You might want to name the section "Arsenal and abilties" to just "Equipment."
  • Speaking of which, the blaster should be linked to "Ordo's repeating blaster," the item he possesses in KotOR.
  • I'm not sure it's a good idea to have the image of Ordo wearing Cassus Fett's armor and using his blaster. It's never been confirmed that he actually did.
  • In the BTS, please list an IMDB template for John Cygan's voicework for both games.
  • Is it really necessary to list the men who created Ordo? Just say BioWare.
  • However, in one particular cut element, the Exile can ask T3-M4 if he knew Mandalore, in which T3 and the Exile react as if T3 is showing a hologram, possibly of Revan and Mandalore without his helmet, but the droid actually displays nothing. You can omit the part which says "possibly of Revan and Mandalore without his helmet," since it appears to be specutation.

Ordo[]

Hey Jeth. I'll give Ordo a review in the next day or two. As for moving the article to Mandalore the Preserver, I'm a bit leery about that. He's generally referred to as Canderous Ordo in most sources and it's stated that he became a "Mandalore." I would leave it as is. Let me know if you need anything else. Cylka-talk- 23:26, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

  • That wouldn't be a problem, but I'm currently away from my desktop pc, and therefore, the game. I will be back home at the end of the month, so I could get them then. Sorry about that. Let me know if you still want me to get them then. Cylka-talk- 23:39, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

Ordo review[]

Hey Jeth. Here's the pre-nom review that you asked me for.

  • Previously, Revan had declared himself a Sith Lord and attacked the Republic following his victory against the Mandalorians, but was eventually betrayed by his apprentice Darth Malak and had his mind reprogrammed by the Jedi Council, and now served as a Republic soldier. - This really doesn't belong in the introduction, at least not of this length. The intro is just an overview and this has way too much info.
    • Trimmed down a bit.
  • You didn't explain Revan's reprogramming as well in the body as in the intro and this needs to be corrected.
    • Fixed I think.
  • I'm not entirely sure that you should be including Bastila in the article as a definitive companion on Taris. From what I remember, she didn't have to be in the party.
    • Fixed
  • In this case, I think that a little bit of context is needed as to why Revan needed to meet with the Council on Dantooine. Even a couple of sentences saying that Revan's reemerging Force powers made it necessary, or some such, would be enough.
    • Added some context.
  • In addition, Revan told Ordo the truth about Mandalore the Ultimate and their Sith allies, and of how his people had been tricked and that all along the Sith had been behind the Mandalorian Wars. - This sentence makes it seem as if the reader already knew about this and you are simply reminding them.
    • Reworded.
  • While it was tradition that the leader of the Mandalorians kept his helmet on, Ordo probably had more reasons to do so, such as keeping his ties with Revan secret, a relationship that few Mandalorians would have approved. - This seems to be highly speculative to me. Unless you have a source for it, it needs to go.
    • Deleted.
  • I may be forgetting some things, but did Ordo recognize the Exile immediately and wonder why she had the Ebon Hawk?
    • Reviewing the Let's Play link, Ordo never says as such, but does pick up the Hawk with his base's sensors and he mentions knowing the Exile's role in the Mandalorian Wars the first time you talk to him in your party, so I think this is a reasonable statement. Of course, if you disagree I'd be fine with changing it.
  • I don't think that you can include the specifics of Ordo's recruitment of clans on Nar Shaddaa and Dantooine. The problem is that he would have had to have been one of the companions in order for it to happen, but that wasn't a requirement. You need to leave it somewhat vague and add that to the Bts.
    • Changed for now, but would maybe putting a 100% completion tag maybe solve the issue since it is a sidequest?
      • The problem as I see it, is that it actually isn't an official sidequest. I think it was supposed to be, but was cut, so the tag wouldn't help, unfortunately. The only thing that you could add in the main body is that Ordo hoped to find and recruit more Mandalorians while traveling with the Exile. There is also the issue of the order of planets visited by the Exile. Since we don't have any concrete evidence, the best solution has been to go by the order listed in the Prima Guide, which is Peragus II · Nar Shaddaa · First Battle of Onderon · Khoonda · Korriban · Second Battle of Onderon · Telos IV · Malachor V. This means that Ordo couldn't even have been on Nar Shaddaa with the Exile. In the Bts you need to clarify about the player's choice of planets and having Ordo in the party.
    • Done. JethLordMasterYing yang copy (Xia Order) 03:52, October 17, 2010 (UTC)
  • It might be worthwhile to add in a little bit more detail about Ordo's visit to Iziz since that is actually Part I of the Onderon Civil War and he was a required companion.
    • Expanded a bit to include Ordo's opinions.
      • Two things here. First there is a bit of dialog between Ordo and Bostuco, with Ordo remembering something about the Mandalorian Wars. Secondly, I think that you need expand on why Canderous was angry at Kreia's lack of respect. As it stands right now, the reader has no clue. Either that, or you can simply remove those few words.
    • Fixed. JethLordMasterYing yang copy (Xia Order) 03:52, October 17, 2010 (UTC)
  • The section on the Battle of Telos needs to be expanded, since again, he was a required part of that mission.
    • What specifically did you want me to add? I'm not sure how much more is necessary.
      • The only thing that I would include is his reasoning as to why him and his Mandalorians needed to be the ones who helped end Nihilus and destroy the Ravager. Also, there is that funny conversation between him and one of the Mandalorians (I forget which one) where the Mando wanted to kill himself because the last proton bomb failed and Ordo said he could only do that if Ordo ordered it. However, I think that that conversation would be better suited in the P/T as to how Ordo's soldiers regarded him and how much authority he had over them, or something like that.
        • Added.
  • The last paragraph of the Legacy section has too many unknowns. We can't have unknowns in the articles. Either it needs to be rewritten or it needs to be removed. However, if an in-universe source says that something is unknown, that can be included, as long as you write it stating that.
    • Fixed.
  • I'll stop my review here for now and give you time before I go on to the next sections. Let me know if you have any questions. Cylka-talk- 04:09, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

  • There is a lot of underlinking in the article.
    • More links added.
  • In the part about the Exile's crash on the moon, you need to add context as to why the planet was blockaded in the first place. Otherwise, when you talk about the political situation in Iziz later on, the reader has no clue what is going on.
    • Added.
  • In the Bts, you should add in a section explaining the dialog between A dark sided Exile and Canderous. He will then trust her and open up about his time with Revan.
    • Added.
  • There is still some more info from the campaign guide that can be added about Ordo's view on the degeneration of the Mandalorians during the Great Sith War.
    • Would you mind giving me a summary of the info in the guide? I don't have access to one. Thanks!
  • The Bts needs to be fully sourced and I don't think that it is necessary to have that part about there being a Canderous in Baldur's Gate, unless there is a specific source saying that is why they included the name in The Sith Lords.
    • Removed.
  • Alrighty, please take care of these objections and I'll look at the article again. It is looking good, we're just polishing it up a bit. Cylka-talk- 13:51, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

Revan[]

What do you mean it's not neutral? Revan did enter the Manadlorian Wars out of a desire to help the Republic, at first. Almost every character in KOTOR and KOTOR II acknowledged him as the greatest general of his time. The Jedi Masters said that he desired knowledge and was one of the most promising members of the Jedi Order. As for the Mandalorians, he was repulsed by their atrocities when he saw what happened on Cathar. I based the personality he had (before becoming a Sith) as seen in the KOTOR comics, the Old Republic Timeline (8, 9) and the ways he was described by his mentors (Kreia, Vandar, Zhar, etc). Kao Cen Darach[]

Hey Jeth, I wanted to check with you on something: when I was getting images for the Fall of Korriban article, I pulled a few of Darach for future use in his article. I have a pretty good one of his body just after he was killed, and I was wondering if I could replace this image in the article with the new one. Normally, I wouldn't bother, but it's good to have image variety across the wiki. Given that the image that is currently there is already used in the Fall of Korriban, I was hoping I could put a new one in. Let me know if you'd be okay with this. If you prefer the current one because it better illustrates your text, I'm fine with that too—just let me know! Thanks, Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 21:59, August 18, 2011 (UTC)

HK-47 update[]

As insane as it is, HK-47 requires a minor update for this abomination. I'll do it if you don't want to, but I'm giving you first dibs since you FA'ed him. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 01:29, September 12, 2011 (UTC)

Canderous[]

Hey there!

I was a bit hesitant about tagging Canderous for an update based on the novel excerpt --- in fact, I originally removed the update tag after you added it, on the basis that excerpts get released all the time --- but something about the excerpt being in Insider rather than on, say, the Random House website, makes it a bit trickier of a situation. The best course of action would be to completely update the article based on the excerpt; even if there's no information on Canderous's wife, just say something like "At some point after blah blah blah, Ordo married a woman." It may not be ideal, but as you said, you'll be able to make it better in a couple of months. Sound good? Menkooroo 03:38, September 18, 2011 (UTC)

Request![]

Heyo, Jeth. I'm wondering if you can help me out! Your userpage says that you have The New Essential Guide to Droids. Would you be able to check the entry on FA-5 valet droid and tell me anything and everything that it has to say about Gormaanda? I imagine that there's not much beyond the leading quote on the FA-5 valet droid page, but any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Cheers! Menkooroo 05:30, October 9, 2011 (UTC)

  • Thanks so much! Really appreciated. Other than a namedrop in an issue of Insider, that single line is, as far as I know, the only reference to Gormaanda in canon outside of the Holiday Special and and a Holonet News article, so this actually helps a whole lot. :) Menkooroo 08:29, October 9, 2011 (UTC)

Info request[]

Hey, Darth Trayus sent me your way and I'm hoping you can help me. I'm looking for any information on the Republic Strategic Information Service (SIS) from The Old Republic game. If you could assist in anyway I'd appreciate it! Coruscantfan (Talk) 21:46, January 6, 2012 (UTC)

  • Yes, I'm looking specifically for notable missions that can be added to the FA nom article. The codex entry would be good! As for the quests, I'm not sure which class has the most class based missions from the SIS. I've talked with Darth Trayus and I don't think we really came to a decision as to how specific we want to get with their appearances, he would be a better judge as to what should be added. But for now, basically I'm looking for their involvement in major events/missions with enough information to properly cover it in a good size paragraph. I'm not sure if you are able to, but any relevant screenshots and quotes would also be helpful. Especially if you can find a logo or symbol used by the SIS, even if it is the main Republic symbol. I know its a lot and I appreciate whatever you can give me! Coruscantfan (Talk) 04:10, January 8, 2012 (UTC)

Re:WP:SW:TOR[]

Hey Jeth, for companions, we always need to assume player completion of all side quests and companion quests. As for relationships, we can't assume one way or another because we have no indication of PC sexes or the extent of relationships beyond what is forged in companion quests. So in terms of romance, all information should go into the BTS. And for your second question, are you talking about non-alignment options? Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 06:34, March 1, 2012 (UTC)

"Our time has come."
Hello <insert name here>! So, it's been a little over three months since The Old Republic was released, and WookieeProject: The Old Republic, which was founded almost two years ago now, was in dire need of a revamp and update. Participation has slumped, but it's time to get back on the wagon and refocus our efforts. So here are some stats: currently, we have ten Featured Articles, thirty-one Good Articles, and thirty-four Comprehensive Articles. Cal Jedi and Coruscantfan have both been doing great work lately, but we need more users to start undertaking projects from the game and related materials. Comprehensive articles are a great way to get started, so take a leap, pick an article, and get crackin'.

Beyond status articles, there are a few other ways you can help WP: TOR with it's primary goals. Those of you who have a current subscription to the game are welcome to visit our new guild page, where we're setting up in-game groups to help catalogue and confirm information here on Wookieepedia. Aside from that, our article lists can always use expansions. We have some fun new programs and challenges coming to WP:TOR in the future, so take a look at our news and discussion area for updates, and always remember to add any of your new status article successes to the news board.
If you have any questions or comments, head on over to the forums or let me know on my talk page. Take a look around the updated project page, and happy hunting! Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 09:40, March 11, 2012 (UTC)

Canderous Ordo[]

Hello, I just thought that you would like to know that someone added this to the legacy section of the Canderous Ordo article: "In The Old Republic video game Smuggler class can find Canderous's skull on one of the missions. It is held on Imperial ship as a part of the cargo. The skull has a large peircring wound, meaning that Mandalore the Preserver fell in battle defending the glory." I figured since you nominated the article that it would be best if I let you take care of integrating this information properly into the article. Thank you for your time.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 20:31, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

Re:Good to see you again[]

New Canderous Ordo Quote[]

I saw a new quote in The Essential Guide to Warfare attributed to Canderous. I was told by Jedi Kasra to ask you where you think the qoute should go since you got the article to FA status. The quote is "Many men will volunteer to die, but few will be patient in the face of pain." WHere do you think the quote will fit nicely in the article. Please get back to me when you can. Canderous Ordo's Birth Year[]

Would it be allright to put Canderous birth year up. The New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels question[]

Hi JethLordMaster, I was wondering if you would be able to check something for me in the aforementioned book, which I don't have (very sad). I was after information regarding the Republic's AT-TE, specifically about the crew. The article's body references information about the crew and the jobs of each crewman to this book, whilst the infobox attributes the information to the fact file. I've asked someone to check the fact file and wanted to see what the book said as well. If you do check, feel free to leave a note on my talk page so I see it. Thanks heaps and have a good week! Order 66 novel question[]

Hi Jeth, lord and master. I was just wondering if you could check something for me in the Order 66 novel. I've just moved and my copy is in the bottom of a box in a room full of boxes, one of several that have books in it ^^' It's for the Wookieepedia:Good article nominations/Wookiee dual missile turret nomination, just wanted to know what the book says for the scene where they lose Sev *sniff*. The beginning of the sections had a number of days after the battle of Geonosis, I'm pretty sure that scene had 1088 days, but the section where they first land on kashyyyk is 1070. If you could double check the 1088 is correct, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks heaps and have a great week! Manoof (talk) 08:25, June 15, 2015 (UTC)

RE: Kao Cen Darach Review[]

Yes, there needs to a reference explaining how that date is being arrived at combined with sources for the dates used.--Exiled Jedi (talk) 15:57, April 9, 2016 (UTC)

  • After looking at this, I am not sure that the 3681 BBY date should be included at all unless it is specified that Seros was the immediate successor to Darach. There could be one or more Battlemasters in between Seros and Darach without preventing Seros from being the Battlemaster for some time before his death.--Exiled Jedi (talk) 00:41, May 8, 2016 (UTC)
    • I would just use something like: "Eventually Jun Seros (—3641 BBY)"--Exiled Jedi (talk) 14:54, May 8, 2016 (UTC)
