"Does he think he can get away?"
―The weapons specialist[1]

A human male[2] served as a weapons specialist on the bridge of a Cantwell-class Arrestor Cruiser commanded by captain Elk as part of the Galactic Empire's Segra-Milo Imperial patrol.[1] During a patrol near the planet[3] Segra Milo[1] in 5 BBY,[4] the cruiser encountered the Fondor Haulcraft of the rebel Luthen Rael and caught it in a tractor beam. When Rael released clouds of shrapnel from his vessel to destroy the Imperial cruiser's forward tractor dish, the weapons specialist expressed surprise from such damage coming from a Haulcraft.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The weapons specialist, credited as "Weapons Spec", was portrayed by Harry McEntire in the television show Andor, appearing in the eleventh episode, "Daughter of Ferrix,"[1] which aired on November 16, 2022.[5]

McEntire originally guessed that he played a character in the Obi-Wan Kenobi television series, as the Andor series was shot under a working title. He assumed that his role in Obi-Wan Kenobi was cut, but later discovered that his character was featured in Andor.[6]
