The anti-Nihil operative Cair San Tekka owned a hauler during the High Republic Era. The vessel was equipped with at least one engine and a hyperdrive and could be crewed by a pilot.[1] By 228 BBY,[2] San Tekka hid the hauler in a spaceport on[1] the Chommell sector planet[3] Jafan and bribed several mechanics to hide it for him.[1]
By the time the spaceport was partially abandoned due to the Nihil presence in the sector[1] that year,[2] San Tekka returned and collected his hauler. Afterward, he traveled off Jafan via hyperspace, jumping to the nearby Chommell sector planet Naboo. Among the swampy cliffs on the south side of the world's capital, Theed, San Tekka swapped the hauler for his luxury yacht for the rest of the trip to his family's nearby compound.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The hauler was mentioned in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[4]
