"Anybody got anything?"
"Eh, negative captain. We've lost him. Wait… He's too…powerful. Hurry!"
―Captain Rex and the clone trooper during the pursuit of General Krell[3]

A clone trooper was a member of the 501st Legion during the Battle of Umbara, serving under Clone Captain CT-7567. After the majority of the 501st's involvement in the campaign, Jedi General and interim commander of the 501st Pong Krell betrayed them. When the clones attacked him, Krell fled into the Umbaran jungle. The clone was one of several other troopers that pursued the treasonous Besalisk. During the hunt, he communicated directly to Captain Rex via comlink. Although the trooper was killed by Krell, the clones eventually hunted down and imprisoned Krell.[3]
