A gang of Nikto mercenaries was active on Arvala-7 around 9 ABY, and had in their captivity a child that was the same species as former Jedi Grand Master Yoda.
History[]
During the New Republic Era, a mercenary company composed of Nikto was active on Arvala-7 in 9 ABY, and was headquartered in an encampment that could only be accessed by riding a blurrg. Their presence on the planet created an endless stream of criminals and violence. At one point, they had in their possession an infant later referred to as "the asset," which was of the same species as the former Jedi Grand Master Yoda. Eventually, word spread that the mercenary group had the individual, and many sought to capture it. The violence created by the mercenaries brought the Ugnaught moisture farmer Kuiil to aid those who sought to capture "the asset," but they all failed and died.[1]
Eventually, a bounty hunter known as "the Mandalorian" was hired by a member of an Imperial remnant. When at the encampment, the Mandalorian encountered IG-11, who was also hired to deal with "the asset," albeit with instructions to kill it. Both bounty hunters worked together to destroy the mercenary group, after which the Mandalorian was forced to kill IG-11 to prevent the droid from killing "the asset."[1]
