Biography[]

"Commander, your hit-and-run operations are gaining too much notice. If we are perceived as anything other than a group of unorganized remnant warlords, the New Republic will increase their efforts to hunt us down."
―Captain Gilad Pellaeon, to the commander — (audio) Listen (file info)[1]

A warlord of the remnants of the Galactic Empire was active[1] around 9 ABY.[3] Holding the rank of commander, the warlord was a part of the Shadow Council, a group of Imperial officers who secretly cooperated during the era of the New Republic and each furthered Imperial interests within a specific sector of the galaxy. The commander specifically carried out hit-and-run attacks on hyperspace routes with the aim of acquiring valuable loot.[1]

MandoShadowCouncil

The warlord was a member of the Shadow Council.

At one point around 9 ABY,[3] the warlord was attending via hologram a meeting of the Shadow Council. During the meeting, the commander expressed their disagreement with Captain Gilad Pellaeon, who urged the members of the council to be discreet about revealing to the New Republic the true strength of their forces. In response to the commander's remark, Pellaeon noted that the attacks the former was carrying was attracting too much notice.[1]

Later during the meeting, the commander attentively observed the arguing between Pellaeon, Commandant Brendol Hux, and Moff Gideon over the allotment of Imperial resources. The warlord and two others also agreed with Gideon's claim that, unlike the Imperial factions represented by Pellaeon and Hux, the other members of the Shadow Council restricted their undertakings to reporting on the events that transpired within their respective sectors. When Gideon subsequently described a plan to exterminate the remaining members of the Mandalorian warrior culture and shouted a hail to the continued longevity of the Empire, the other Imperial officers present in the meeting echoed the hail.[1]
