Uaua was a terrestrial astronomical object[3] located in square U-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid, a part of Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] By 3 ABY,[4] Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk'wassak'Cradossk had assisted a Quor'sav narcotics agent on Uaua. Shortly after the Battle of Hoth, Bossk broke into the Wookiee gunship Liswarr where he confronted his sister Doshanalawook. The hunter noted that the latter's projector console showed a detailed personal history of himself, which included a mention of his work on Uaua.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Uaua was introduced in the current Star Wars canon via the 2020 short story "Tooth and Claw" by Michael Kogge, published in the anthology From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet[5] Uaua was first introduced in the Wizards of the Coast roleplaying game source article "A Campaign Guide to the Centrality," which was also written by Kogge and was released in the fifth issue of the Star Wars Gamer magazine[6] on July 24, 2001.[7] The article established that Uaua was the homeworld of the Quor'sav species.[6]
The 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia later established that Waywa Fybot,[8] a character who had appeared in the 1993 novel Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon,[5] was in fact a Quor'sav.[8] Since in the novel Fybot visits his homeworld in a dream, Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon retroactively became the first Legends appearance of the planet.[5]
