Trot was a Lurmen male criminal who operated with Jega's Squad on the moon Nar Shaddaa. Trot had an inclination for removing limbs, often being held back from doing so by other members of the squad, to Trot's disappointment. In 3 ABY, Trot ran into the bounty hunter Zuckuss and later helped him fight against his companion, the droid 4-LOM, who had been reprogrammed to attack Zuckuss.

Enter Zuckuss[]

Trot was a male Lurmen with a notorious reverence for dismemberment who resided on^[1] the moon^[2] Nar Shaddaa, living as a criminal and member of Jega's Squad. The squad, which included Trot, the Chagrian Kaj, the Volpai Mareesee, and the Besalisk Hormf, operated out of Jega's Music Hall and Petting Zoo in Wormstew Town. The criminal was acquainted with the bounty hunters Zuckuss and 4-LOM, who usually operated together, and was aware of the mercenary Deva Lompop, whom Trot hated.^[1] In 3 ABY,^[3] Trot was privy to a battle on Nar Shaddaa in which Zuckuss and 4-LOM came up against the bounty hunter Boba Fett, hearing multiple accounts of what had happened.^[1]

Shortly after hearing the news, Trot was inside Jega's Music Hall and Petting Zoo, sitting alone and stirring a green beverage with a knife. Then, the Lurmen noticed a wounded Zuckuss limp into the establishment. Exclaiming, Trot lept up from the table and helped seat the Gand Findsman, noting that Zuckuss looked terrible. Disoriented, Zuckuss asked what had happened, and Trot told him that 4-LOM was "donezo," mentioning that one story they heard was that Fett had left Nar Shaddaa with 4-LOM's head in tow. Trot then quickly launched into a complaint that no one had asked them to hack off the droid's limbs, griping that nobody ever thought of them. Zuckuss began to bemoan 4-LOM's fate, telling Trot how the two first met each other, which did not particularly interest the Lurmen.^[1]

As Zuckuss continued, Trot turned around and noticed two patrons, an Artiodac and an Ithorian, harassing the Lurmen's comrade Kaj. Trot shouted for them to back off, and Kaj soon smashed a bottle into the Artiodac's face. As a brawl began, Trot climbed onto the Ithorian's back, grabbing their head. Meanwhile, Zuckuss continued to sit and mope about 4-LOM's absence, noting that Trot and Kaj were working together and lamenting that he missed having a partner to work with. Trot barked for Zuckuss to settle down, insisting that teammates only got in the way of fun. Trot felt that the point was made promptly after when they brandished a knife to dismember the Ithorian and Kaj stepped in to prevent it. While their companion Mareesee kicked the two patrons out, Kaj snapped at Trot, and an argument ensued between them.^[1]

Encountering 4-LOM[]

Zuckuss then stood up from the table and declared that he could sense 4-LOM before dashing out of Jega's. Trot gave chase, telling Zuckuss that he could not run around in his condition. Zuckuss soon located 4-LOM—who had been rebuilt by Doctor Cribiriz Idollax, a former target of the two hunters—under Idollax's control. 4-LOM was now intent on killing his partner, much to the Gand's dismay. Trot called in the rest of the team via comlink, and Mareesee, Kaj, and Hormf quickly arrived and helped take down 4-LOM.^[1]

The squad fought against 4-LOM, with Trot gleefully handling a circular saw and shouting that there were many limbs to chop. Meanwhile, Zuckuss, recognizing Idollax's handiwork and realizing that he must be nearby, tracked down and killed the doctor. Freed from Idollax's control, 4-LOM ceased the attack and departed, leaving Zuckuss alone as the members of Jega's Squad celebrated their victory, with Kaj picking up and hugging Trot, much to the Lurmen's annoyance.^[1]

Personality and traits[]

Trot was a Lurmen with a colorful tongue and a fascination for cutting off limbs. The Lurmen had gray skin with lighter gray fur as well as yellow eyes. Kaj tried to rein in Trot's propensity to dismember enemies, which Trot did not appreciate.^[1]

Equipment[]

Trot wore a black hat, a green jumpsuit, and a brown belt, with a knife strapped to their lower left leg. The Lurmen's left eye was covered with a green eyepatch. Trot enjoyed wielding bladed weapons in battle, including knives and even a circular saw blade, and particularly loved to use them to slice off limbs. Trot also owned a comlink that was used to communicate with the rest of the squad.^[1]

Trot appeared in the one-shot comic issue War of the Bounty Hunters – 4-LOM & Zuckuss 1, which was a part of the Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters crossover event.^[1] The comic was written by Daniel José Older, illustrated by Kei Zama, and published by Marvel Comics on August 4, 2021.^[4]
