Imperial freighter[]

Isn't the 'Imperial freighter' a Gozanti-class cruiser? Admiral mike501 (talk) 04:58, October 14, 2013 (UTC)

  • The NYCC slide show shows that it's based on that cruiser, but has some differences. --JMM (talk) 16:58, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

  • A project will likely be created, but probably not until the series is released. Supreme Emperor (talk) 22:58, October 29, 2013 (UTC)

Fall or Summer?[]

According to this, Rebels will debut this summer (rather than fall) as a movie and a series of shorts. It says this stuff will air on the regular Disney channel, whereas the rest of the series will be on XD. Adamwankenobi (talk) 07:17, February 6, 2014 (UTC)

FTU[]

I think we need to address the rancor in the starship, isn't this whole thing going to kind of interfere with how we saw the the rebellion being founded in The Force Unleashed. The whole, Starkiller, secret plot- turns genuine rebbellion army thing? The last thing I want to see is my favorite Star Wars Video Game being retconned into non-cannonicity.Unsigned comment by Sunblaster (talk • contribs).

  • Pablo Hidalgo has already stated that TFU is non-canon, but he didn't give any more specifics, so we don't know if the whole game is non-canon or only the parts showing the formation of the Rebellion. I'm sure that's one of the main things the Lucasfilm Story Group will be tackling, so it's best to wait for more specific official information on this before trying to sort things out that we aren't totally clear on. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 16:18, February 14, 2014 (UTC)
    • Do you have a link to where he said that? It would be an interesting fact to add to the article. Adamwankenobi (talk) 16:41, February 14, 2014 (UTC)
      • This is the Twitter discussion. I would recommend not adding anything to the article at this time, because he didn't specifically say this was in regards to Rebels, just that TFU is non-canon in light of the TCW S5 Onderon arc. We don't know yet how or if this relates to whatever might be in the Rebels storyline. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 17:30, February 14, 2014 (UTC)
        • Quick question, does he have any authority in labeling stuff canon and non-canon. Also why would the Onderon Act change TFU continuity? Wetro (talk) 05:36, February 16, 2014 (UTC)
          • Pablo is part of the Lucasfilm Story Group, which is now the definitive authority on Star Wars canon, so he is one of the select few people who is involved in this decision-making process. That said, as another admin remarked in regards to this, someone's personal Twitter page is about the lowest form of official decree there is, so it's probably better to wait for something that's more specific on how TFU is non-canon exactly. As for how the Onderon arc conflicts with TFU, your guess is as good as mine; all I'll say is I haven't spoken with anyone about this yet who thinks what Pablo said isn't ridiculous. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 16:44, February 16, 2014 (UTC)
      • Don't add anything to this page because it'll get crazy with TFU continuity because Galen did create Rebel Alliance so, they should put in Galen Marek in the rebels show.User: Leonardo Sunstriker
        • Toprawa, are you sure you've got the link correct? I clicked the link and it says the page doesn't exist. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 01:27, February 24, 2014 (UTC)
          • The link was correct, but Pablo Hidalgo has since shut down his Twitter account, and that handle, as you can see, is now being used by some other company. So that information is now lost. Go figure. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 16:38, February 24, 2014 (UTC)
            • It might be archived on archive.org, though its probably not worth hunting down, as we know Marek at least is still canon thanks to his mention in Part 2 of The Imperial Warlords. Not to mention it would require an extensive amount of retcons of various other sources, including The Essential Guide to Warfare. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 16:47, February 24, 2014 (UTC)
              • The post is not on Internet Archive, for the record, nor are some of his other, more critical posts, such as his clarification of the Rebels timeline, which is now a dead reference link within this article. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 16:50, February 24, 2014 (UTC)

Ugnaught[]

The latest teaser with Zeb shows, that Ugnaught is to appear in the series. Perhaps we could add him to the species part of the article? 2.4 Added sources/appearances[]

Hey I just wanted to introduce myself. I am Alex, a host of Scum and Villainy Radio. This past Friday, we interview Greg Weisman (executive producer of Rebels) and he gave us a bunch of exclusive stuff. It should def be added to this page. It is Episode #14 of our show and can be found here, www.scumandvillainyradio.com

What is this?[]

I saw this on the Disney Wiki: [1]. Does anyone know the source of this image? Adamwankenobi (talk) 10:57, March 16, 2014 (UTC)

  • That's almost definitely fan-made. CC7567 (talk) 16:14, March 16, 2014 (UTC)

Kallus' first appearance[]

Can you at least put (First appearance) near Kallus' link? Unsigned comment by 98.64.28.11 (talk • contribs).

  • We don't yet know that the series is going to be Kallus' first appearance. For all we know, he may show up in a novelization or one of those rumored shorts that, while still being directly associated with the Rebel's brand, is not the series itself first. Doctor Kermit(Complain.) 22:26, March 20, 2014 (UTC)

Characters[]

How do I source it? It's in the figure section of Star Wars Inside 149. Also here: Star Wars Rebels (toy line). Magazine has a whole page with Ezra, Chopper, the other Jedi, Kallus, Stormtrooper and Inquisitorr. It mentions R2, 3PO and Zeb.--Zombiejiger (talk) 23:45, April 26, 2014 (UTC)

Legends pages[]

Maybe a stupid question, but is there also going to be a legends page on star wars rebels characters? Unsigned comment by 84.85.164.162 (talk • contribs).

  • Not a stupid question at all! No, there won't be Legends pages for anything regarding Star Wars Rebels. The show and its storyline only exist in canon, not Legends. Therefore, the characters don't exist in the Legends continuity. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 18:52, June 8, 2014 (UTC)

The Inquisitor's Voice[]

They announced the Inquisitor's voice actor six days ago, he's listed on the Inquisitor's page, but I didn't see it listed on the Rebels page. I didn't remember the protocol for when something like this happens, so I thought I'd point it out. I can put it in if someone wants me to. --Jessanna Stansu, Jedi Knight (talk) 04:28, July 23, 2014 (UTC) Never mind, I think I overlooked it. Disregard! --Jessanna Stansu, Jedi Knight (talk) 06:05, July 23, 2014 (UTC)

TV Movie and Release Date[]

The Disney Wiki and commercials on Disney XD and the Disney channel say that the one-hour special is a TV movie now, and I just went on the Disney Wiki page for Rebels and it said the premiere is October 14th. I don't know the source for the date, but the movie bit is sound, should I put this in the article? I'm always kind of shy about making any edits bigger then spell-checks. --Jessanna Stansu, Jedi Knight (talk) 09:57, August 9, 2014 (UTC)

  • As a rule, nothing should be added to any article unless you can verify and reference its information to a legitimate source. I can't find anything on the Internet that says an October 14 release date (including Jedi News, which is usually always right on top of this stuff. If they haven't reported it, it's probably bogus). As far as the movie bit, that, too, needs to be sourced to something. Since referencing a TV commercial can be difficult, I would recommend one of two things: 1) If you have the technical ability, record the commercial from your TV and upload it onto the Internet as a video for citation purposes; 2) If you are unable to do that, keep watching for the commercial to re-air, and when it does, transcribe the commercial's exact dialogue, then come back here and show it to us. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 17:50, August 9, 2014 (UTC)
  • I think I know why they think that: the dvd for the pilot-movie will be released on Amazon October 14th. --Hafje (talk) 18:05, August 9, 2014 (UTC)
    • Can you provide a link to verify this? Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:07, August 9, 2014 (UTC)
      • It was reported here, however, I can't find said listing on the main Amazon site, though this is still listed on Amazon.co.uk, with very little information given. ProfessorTofty (talk) 18:19, August 9, 2014 (UTC)
  • Sorry, I forgot to check back before. I haven't seen the commercials on for a little bit and I don't have the tech to record it, but I remember it clearly stating it's a movie. I know, we need to source it on something besides my memory, though...--Jessanna Stansu, Jedi Knight (talk) 03:32, August 18, 2014 (UTC)

Tie-ins?[]

Shouldn't we have a section listing all the tie-ins? Patsoumas1995 (talk) 13:31, September 29, 2014 (UTC)

  • Assuming you can whip up such a section with decent formatting and good info, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be added. Feel free to do so. ProfessorTofty (talk) 14:22, September 29, 2014 (UTC)
    • Speaking of which, should we have a multimedia page similar to the clone wars? --Dentface (talk) 17:52, October 8, 2014 (UTC)

Season Zero[]

"Property of Ezra Bridger" (previously titled "Not What You Think") is the fourth, and final, of the prequel shorts released in promotion of the animated series, Star Wars Rebels.[3] The three-minute short aired on Disney XD and was released online on September 1, 2014.[1]

Your missing these from the episode list, I've seen them counted as season 0 episode 1 to 4 respectively.

24.79.32.243 16:59, October 8, 2014 (UTC)

Unless an official source (Disney or Lucasfilm) classifies them as a Season Zero, then we will not create a Season page for them. The Rebels team have said they were made in promotion for season one, which is why they're listed on the season one page. --Dentface (talk) 17:09, October 8, 2014 (UTC)
But in the Season one page you do have them listed as episodes. So in the main page instead of using the word "one" under seasons you could use the word "promos." Aug 11, 2014 - Sept 1st, 2014.
Season Episodes First airdate Last airdate
Promos 4 August 11, 2014 September 1, 2014
One October 13, 2014
Two

24.79.32.243 18:53, October 8, 2014 (UTC)

If an official source lists them under the name "Season Zero," then yes, that would be added as a section. Until that becomes the case, however, the promos should rightly remain listed as promotional material for Season One. Doing otherwise would effectively be just making stuff up. — DigiFluid(Whine here) 20:30, October 8, 2014 (UTC)

But you have them listed on the other article and not on this article. It's missing the shorts but they aren't full episodes so that's why I suggested the extra row. It could be a column instead with a double box for the Season numbers.

References -- to Wook or to Watch DisneyXD?[]

Okay I was trying to tidy up all the <ref> links, when I found out that some of them points internally to a Wook article, while others point to the "Watch DisneyXD" site.

I propose changing them all to point to Wook articles instead; the reasoning is two-fold: (1) To ensure that all reference information are collected into the relevant Wook article, and (2) Not everyone can access "Watch DisneyXD" site.

Thoughts? Objections?  [ pepoluan talk ] 15:27, January 14, 2016 (UTC)

Episode numbers[]

Why are the Rebels episode numbers listed the way they are? The official website (http://www.starwars.com/tv-shows/star-wars-rebels) counts the hour long season premieres as two episodes. Shouldn't this wiki match the episode numbering of the official website? (And of Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Star_Wars_Rebels_episodes). It is confusing and unnecessary to have completely different numbering schemes on different websites.Unsigned comment by 67.240.208.165 (talk • contribs).

I'm gonna have to agree with you there. I propose we just put "1-2" underneath "TV movie" and change the rest of the episode numbers accordingly. -- Dr. Porter Resistance starbird (Talk|Contribs) 03:08, October 30, 2016 (UTC)

I attempted to make these revisions and was rejected by Lewisr who said to bring it up on the talk page even though I had already done so. I am a consistent user of both this wiki and the official Star Wars website, and I find it confusing when the episode numbers of Rebels are inconsistent among these two sources. I really believe it should be the same for the sake of consistency. Lewisr told me "We're doing it differently on here", which doesn't seem like much of a reason to me.

  • I will say that I don't know the full reasons why, that's why I said we do it differently (which I admit isn't much of an answer so apologies for that) and also why I said to bring it up on the talk page --Lewisr (talk) 18:05, January 19, 2017 (UTC)

Canon[]

Star Wars Rebels is not canon as it does not play any part in the Star Wars story. It is a spin off series. I request that the canon sign be removed from the Star Wars rebels page on this wikia

  • The show is about the formation of the Rebel Alliance, and it's a canon series. To say otherwise is 100% incorrect. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 18:20, March 6, 2017 (UTC)

Chopper Voice Actor[]

I know that it's probably just a humorous tongue-in-cheek thing, but Chopper was indeed explicitly credited "as himself" in each and every episode.

So, should we add "Chopper" to the list of actors? :D

 [ pepoluan talk ] 06:48, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

"Television Movie" of Season 4?[]

In the Episode Section, where is the source that says Season 4 would have one television movie? The linked-to references do not explicitly say that there will be one and only one television movie.

If the designation of "Television Movie" is determined based on hour-long two-parters shown back-to-back, then that means Season 4 would have at least two television movies: Heroes of Mandalore Parts 1 & 2 and In the Name of the Rebellion Parts 1 & 2  [ pepoluan talk ] 17:37, November 14, 2017 (UTC)

I found on "Star Wars Rebels Season Two" page it says there is 19 episodes but on the "Star Wars Rebels" page it says Season Two has 20 episodes

Season Premieres[]

Why are the season premiere episodes treated as "films"? They are simply hour-long episodes of Rebels, just like the several other hour-long episodes, yet are treated in a different way on this site. It is confusing that the articles are named differently (i.e. "Star Wars Rebels: The Siege of Lothal" instead of "The Siege of Lothal"). Also, they don't have the Rebels logo next to them in "Appearances" sections of other articles, making it harder to identify at a glance. I particularly don't understand why the Season 3 and 4 premieres are treated this way (at least Spark of Rebellion and Siege of Lothal had posters and were referred to as films).

Need help editing Timeline section[]

I'm trying to edit the page for Star Wars Rebels to add the new CRC calendar system from the book Scum and Villainy but when I try and save my edit a message pops up saying "The modification you tried to make was aborted by an extension hook". The modification I'm trying to make is on the Television bar to the right under Timeline and it just looks like this:

7972-7976 C.R.C., Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most NotoriousScum and Villainy Case Files gives the date of the Trade Federation plot to assassinate Padmé Amidala as seen in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones as 7955 C.R.C. This would place Star Wars Rebels in the years 7972 to 7976 C.R.C..

Can someone help me figure out why this edit is being flagged by the system?

Rebels end date according to D23 Expo 2019[]

So, I have changed Rebels' end date to 0 BBY. This is because a few minutes ago at D23 Expo, an official timeline for all canon audiovisual material, and Rebels appear as ending in the same year as A New Hope and Rogue One. Any thoughts?--HERRERO BOSS (talk) 01:29, August 24, 2019 (UTC)
