Troopers from the Bad Batch[]

We have found out they're are names of the list of troopers from this unit, which is told on http://au.ign.com/articles/2015/04/17/star-wars-the-clone-wars-tons-of-info-and-images-from-the-unfinished-episodes site, these list of names include

  • Wrecker
  • Tech
  • Cross Rair
  • Hunter

which we have just found out. Colby James (talk) 23:37, April 17, 2015 (UTC)

  • Cross Hair. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 00:15, April 18, 2015 (UTC)
  • Also does CT-5597 become an ARC Trooper, I'm shore Jesse will possibly become one maybe?Colby James (talk) 03:14, April 18, 2015 (UTC)

Image leak[]

Here is an image of who (based on Dave Filoni's concept art revealed at SWCA) I assume is Cross Hair. I don't know if it would be useful to the Wiki, given its quality, but I thought I would point it out. The site I found this on also has an image of Echo as he appears in the Bad Batch episodes, if that would be useful... - Imperial Emblem The Dark Lord of the Sith Imperial Emblem 05:00, April 22, 2015 (UTC)

Task force 99[]

is these the same squad, only imperial, or what? If so, would merging the pages be advisable?--D9328 (talk) 14:51, July 20, 2016 (UTC)d9328

Name[]

I think this article should be moved to Experimental Unit Clone Force 99 since that appears to be the full formal name--Vitus InfinitusTalk 01:18, February 20, 2020 (UTC)

  • If there are no objections I will move the page shortly--Vitus InfinitusTalk 01:50, February 21, 2020 (UTC)
    • I don't think that's the official name. The subtitles don't capitalize unit, so Cody is just describing them as an experimental unit, not as part of their name. Plus, if you look at their original Databank entry, it only refers to them as Clone Force 99. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 07:42, February 23, 2020 (UTC)

trivia or fun fact I guess[]

the symbols on "wreckers" helmet (므므) say "Moo Moo" (well thats how it would sound if you said it slowly and deliberately, [just like a cow would]) in Korean, I can't find a star wars language equivalent to those symbols, so I'm assuming its just an Easter egg or something along those lines.

  • ᄆ= m
  • 으= eu(oo)
  • 므= Moo
  • also Google translates "므므" as "MEME"

either way its kinda funny. (Daehock 07:15, February 23, 2020 (UTC)

  • Per the header, "this space is used for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question." I'd recommend going to the discussions forum. Also, the "AurebeshSans-Serif 91pixelspaceAurebeshSans-Serif 9" symbol is just "99" in Aurebesh. - Cwedin(talk) 07:42, February 23, 2020 (UTC)
  • it’s aurebesh (the written form of galactic basic) for 99. the 으 is a 9.

echo also puts it on his helmet*

Official images[]

We have official character posters for the unit. It would be great if someone could photoshop them and use them as the infobox images. UberSoldat93 (talk) 07:41, February 29, 2020 (UTC)

  • I've added it, but the sourcing isn't working on Hunter and Crosshair's. Can you help? Maybe your computer is working better than mine right now, thanks. Here are the links to their files, respectively. [1], [2] I haven't added them to their pages yet, as I feel uncomfortable posting non-sourced images. [sourcing fixed, no need to respond anymore] Octology (talk) 01:54, March 5, 2020 (UTC)

Should ECHO be added to the Dropdown List?[]

I think given he joined the team it would be prudent to add him to the main drop-down, listed as "The Bad Batch". Thoughts? Badadmnisbad (talk) 00:54, April 27, 2020 (UTC)

  • I'm not sure where you mean, but if its not mentioned then it should be --Lewisr (talk) 01:01, April 27, 2020 (UTC)

clone force 99belongs in the legends article to its part of both continuities george created the bad batch clones Unsigned comment by Bean bunny (talk • contribs).

Hunter similarity to standard Jango Clones.[]

Article states they all look different, however.. Hunter is idnetical to your standard Jango Clone, bar longer hair and a tattoo. Which are traits other clones possess, Cut Lawquane, various clones having tats etc. Unsigned comment by 95.44.59.66 (talk • contribs).

Age of the empire[]

Why is there information on the impirial era when the show is not on disney+ yet Unsigned comment by Elijah Palmer (talk • contribs).

The information is from The Bad Batch trailers, and is valid information for inclusion in the article. The information will be changed and updated as the show airs. Please do not remove it again. - Sir Cavalier of OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 16:36, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Image[]

What is that image? Where’s it from, and why did it replace the picture of the members? Master Coleman Fisto (talk)Master Coleman FistoMaster Coleman Fisto (talk)

  • The image is from the official Star Wars app. It is used because logos/emblems of units are generally preferable to pictures of members. VergenceScatter (talk) 17:32, 2 May 2021 (UTC)

Behind the scenes[]

I wanna add that quote from the interview where Dee Baker explained the Bad Batch's voice. How would I do that, since it's not from the Star Wars site? Unsigned comment by Hshfr (talk • contribs).

  • All you need to do is put url=[link url here] where you would normally put a source for a quote Lewisr (talk) 00:54, 21 August 2021 (UTC)

clone force 99 in legends[]

clone force 99 should be treated as both canon and legends those characters exist in legends to.the finalized version is new canon only but the reel is canon in legends.george lucas created clone force 99 and he was involved in the reel version.legacy with the reel version is part of as george lucas credit as executive producer and that makes the reel version including dark disciple son of dathomir and the utapau arc part of legends and just because the bad batch arc was put in s7 doesn´t make the bad batch characters non existent in the legends timeline they exist in both timelines and in the disney canon the arc happens much later while in legends the arc happens earlier in the timeline and unlike disney canon in legends anexus is not part of the outer rim sieges and pablo hidalgo said once that utapau arc and the bad batch arc were part of george lucas universe Unsigned comment by Beanbunny20 (talk • contribs).

  • We don't know the extent to which that information was canonical to the Legends universe, so we wouldn't be able to accuratly write about them in Legends. VergenceScatter (talk) 20:36, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

yes i can understand that Beanbunny20 (talk) 22:25, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

but the reel is part of the legends universe so how can you don´t know at what extend that information is canonical to legends?Unsigned comment by Beanbunny20 (talk • contribs).

  • What exactly says they are a part of the Legends continuity? OOM 224 22:40, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

george lucas is executive producer in legacy with the reel is part of and i also said that pablo hidalgo said those arcs were part of george universeUnsigned comment by Beanbunny20 (talk • contribs). pablo hidalgo said utapau arc and the bad batch were part of george universeUnsigned comment by Beanbunny20 (talk • contribs).

  • Doesn't matter. It's not Legends because Lucasfilm never said so, and your unsubstantiated claims do not affect the Clone Force 99 article. The canonicity of Clone Force 99 within the Legends continuity is outside the scope of this talk page's purpose; talk pages are for discussion relating to changes to the article. Do not continue the discussion here. OOM 224 22:57, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

Clone Force 99 mentioned in Star Wars Rebels?[]

In the episode "The Lost Commanders" (2x03 of Star Wars Rebels) are 2 quotes that could be an indirect mention of Clone Force 99.

Kanan Jarrus:"Our fellow soldiers, the clones, the ones we Jedi fought sidde by side with, suddenly turned and betrayed us. (...) And then came for me." (The last part could definitely refer to Crosshair since he followed and shot at Kanan + Hunter, who also followed him)

Hera: "I understand your fears, but I also remember when the Jedi and clones fought side by side. They saved billions of lives, including my own."

(The last part could refer to the rescue mission with the Bad Batch, which saved her life and that of her parents)
