"Now that wasn't very nice, was it?"
―T7 after Jettster knocked Jarl unconscious[1]

T7 was a copper-plated protocol droid who worked for the Weequay Jarl during the Republic Era. When the Mirialan Servit revealed to Jarl that he had a valuable EX droid, T7 helped Jarl hunt him down to try and acquire it, ending up at Dex's Diner. During the ensuing fight there, the owner, Dexter Jettster, threw brakkenback stew at T7 and got it in his inner workings, knocking the droid out of commission for the rest of the skirmish.

Biography[]

"We'd better get Tee-Seven down to the workshop before his circuits are gummed up for good by that stinking stew."
―Jarl to his crew[1]

T7 was a protocol droid who was a member of the crew of the Weequay Jarl, joined by a human and a Togruta.[1] During the era of the Galactic Republic,[2] on[1] the planet Coruscant,[3] the Mirialan Servit asked Jarl about the worth of an EX droid in his family's possession. Jarl, knowing that the droid was linked to a legend of treasure and was therefore very valuable, tried to take the droid, but Servit escaped and ran to the eatery Dex's Diner. Unbeknownst to Servit, the crew followed him, entering the diner and holding its customers at blaster point while Jarl tried to convince the Mirialan to hand the droid over. The Weequay claimed that refusal would ruin lunch for everyone at the diner, which made T7 laugh. The owner, Dexter Jettster, reiterated that his friend would not be giving up the droid; intimidated, Jarl suggested that they discuss over a bowl of brakkenback stew.[1]

Jettster fetched a bowl of the stew but also brought a frying pan with him, which he used to knock Jarl unconscious. This sparked a blaster fight; before T7 could participate, however, Jettster tossed the bowl of stew at him, causing the protocol droid to curse loudly, for thick sauce had gotten into his inner workings. Following the conclusion of the fight, Jarl held a blaster to Servit and forced him to go into the kitchen to examine the EX droid, leaving T7 on the floor as he tried to remove the stew from himself. Once they had inspected the droid and played the message it held, Jettster was able to convince Jarl—untruthfully—that the location of the treasure had been destroyed. Once he incorrectly realized that the droid was worthless, he mentioned that they had to get T7 to a shop before the stew caused permanent damage to his circuits. The crew then collected a still-moaning T7 as they made their way out of the diner.[1]
