"The Starroses are quite predictable."
―Phel Starros, to Cerasus Ehllo[5]

The Starros Clan,[6] also known as the Starros family,[1] was a clan that dated back to the High Republic Era.[4]

Among its members at the time of the High Republic were Avon Starros and her mother, Ghirra Starros, who was the Senator of Hosnian Prime, her homeworld, in the Galactic Republic Senate.[6] The clan had a private compound on Hosnian Prime.[1] They also possessed multiple holding companies. One of those holding companies secured the major Valo Restoration contract with the help of bills pushed through by Ghirra.[7]

By the time of the Galactic Empire, the clan had fallen into disgrace, and its members went from high-level politicians and scientists to criminals, including the smuggler Sana Starros, who was one of the last descendants of the clan.[4] During this time, the matriarch of the clan[2] was Thea Starros, and members of the clan still lived at their ancesteral family compound on Hosnian Prime.[3]
