"I have to hunt down Lanna. Is she here?"
"Don't tell me she woke the dragon!"
―Karie Neth and Rowe Jascott[2]

Rowe Jascott, nicknamed "Torp," was a Yellow Squadron pilot in the Rebel Alliance who was friends with fellow pilot Karie Neth. In 4 ABY, Jascott helped Neth locate her friend Lanna on the Alliance's flagship Home One. Later that day, Jascott was killed in action during the Battle of Endor.

Biography[]

"Is now a good time to mention that Lanna was here earlier and that she took your gear hostage? I'd try the flight deck if I were you."
―Rowe Jascott, to Karie Neth[2]

Rowe Jascott, nicknamed "Torp" by his friends, was a member of the Rebel Alliance who served as a pilot in its navy's Yellow Squadron during the Galactic Civil War.[2] In 4 ABY,[1] on the day of the Battle of Endor, Jascott approached his friend and wingmate Karie Neth, whom he called by the nickname "Krayt," in the locker room of the Alliance flagship Home One. Neth refused to chat with him and asked if he knew where her friend Lanna was. Realizing from her demeanor that Lanna had woken up Neth—who was a notoriously heavy sleeper—the two joked that Lanna was going to die in the day's upcoming battle against the Galactic Empire, with Jascott promising to toast to her memory at the victory party.[2]

Jascott then revealed that he knew Lanna had been in the locker room earlier and had taken Neth's flight gear, suggesting Neth check the ship's flight deck. Neth reminded him that she would be watching his back during the battle as she left, with Jascott light-heartedly calling back that he trusted her with his life. When the battle against the Empire commenced[2] in the Endor system[1] later that day, Jascott's starfighter was shot by an Imperial capital ship's turbolaser only a few minutes into the fighting, killing him.[2]
