The Ramshead Gorge was a gorge near the Rook, the capital city of the Outer Rim planet E'ronoh. During the High Republic Era, the gorge was used for starfighter and target practice drills by members of E'ronoh's fleet. Between 387 BBY and 382 BBY, the E'roni pilot Lina's starfighter crashed in the Ramshead Gorge when her thruster malfunctioned. Afterward, Lina's brother, Bly Tevin, enlisted in the world's fleet and ran practice runs in the canyon. In 382 BBY, when he later embarked on a mission, he mentally compared flying a devilfighter to his prior drills in the Ramshead Gorge, finding the experiences different.

The Ramshead Gorge was a dry gorge on the Outer Rim planet E'ronoh located near the world's capital city, the Rook.[1]
History[]
At some point during the High Republic Era, the soldier Jerrod Segaru taught the E'roni Princess, Xiri A'lbaran, how to aim by shooting at armored rats in the Ramshead Gorge. By the time of the Eiram and E'ronoh War, the gorge was used to practice starfighter drills by the E'ronoh's fleet's Thylefire Squadron.[1]
The Ramshead Gorge was located on E'ronoh and used by the world's military for drills.
Shortly after embarking on a recon mission to the Outer Rim planet Eiram's western isles[1] between 387 BBY and 382 BBY,[2] the E'roni pilot Lina's starfighter thruster malfunctioned, causing her to crash into the Ramshead Gorge. As her vessel plummeted, several spectators from the Rook were horrified at the sight, including Lina's mother and brother, Bly Tevin. After hearing of Lina's death in the canyon, the city's citizens rioted, angry at losing a pilot due to the military's faulty and outdated equipment. After the incident, Tevin enlisted in E'ronoh's fleet and ran practice starfighter flights in the Ramshead Gorge.[1]
Eventually, Tevin was assigned to the fleet's Thylefire Squadron under the command of Princess A'lbaran. While on a mission[1] in 382 BBY,[2] Tevin felt that flying his newly assigned devilfighter in space was a unique experience incomparable to his previous flying drills in the Ramshead Gorge. While in Eiram's palace shortly after the endeavor's end, A'lbaran mentally compared the parchedness of her mouth to how dry the gorge was. During a summit aboard Republic Supreme Chancellor Orlen Mollo's Alif-class Longbeam, the Paxion, Segaru thought of the times he had instructed the princess on how to refine her shooting aim in the Ramshead Gorge.[1]

The Ramshead Gorge was mentioned in Convergence, a novel written by Zoraida Córdova as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase II[1] that was published on November 22, 2022. Prior to its release, a mention of the gorge was included in a StarWars.com preview for the novel on October 4 of that year.[3]
