"I miss my mum's pilafa stew."
―Bly Tevin, to Thylefire Squadron[1]

The mother of the pilots Bly Tevin and Lina was an E'roni woman who hailed from the planet E'ronoh. She lived on the world with her family and sometimes cooked pilafa stew to feed her relatives, which her son enjoyed. During the Eiram and E'ronoh War, Tevin and his mother watched together as Lina's starfighter crashed, killing her. Afterward, a grieved Tevin enlisted in E'ronoh's fleet to follow in his sister's footsteps and eventually joined the fleet's Thylefire Squadron. However, in 382 BBY, he perished in a supply mission when his sabotaged devilfighter locked him out of the controls, thinking of his mother in his final moments.

Biography[]

Eronoh

Bly Tevin's mother hailed from E'ronoh and lived on the world with her family.

An E'roni woman was the mother of the pilots Bly Tevin and Lina. She lived on her homeworld, the Outer Rim planet E'ronoh, in an apartment with her family. While raising her children, she often watched them play in the dusty streets near the world's royal palace. At some point, the woman began making thin pilafa stew out of rations to feed her family, which Tevin enjoyed.[1] Between 387 BBY and 382 BBY,[2] Lina enlisted in E'ronoh's fleet to fight in the Eiram and E'ronoh War against E'ronoh's enemy, the Outer Rim planet Eiram. However, Tevin and his mother watched Lina's starfighter malfunction and crash shortly after departing on a recon mission to Eiram's western isles, resulting in the pilot's death.[1]

Grieved, Tevin enlisted in E'ronoh's fleet to fight for his family, with his mother promising to cook him fresh pilafa stew when he returned home on leave. As he struggled through basic training, the pilot was grateful his mother was unable to witness his struggle.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] Tevin was assigned to the fleet's Thylefire Squadron on a supply escort mission and told his colleagues he missed his mother's stew. While on the assignment, his sabotaged devilfighter malfunctioned and locked him out of the controls, causing him to panic. After the Jedi Knight Gella Nattai helped him reset his vessel's systems, the pilot reminisced about his childhood growing up under his mother's care. However, when the systems rebooted, he saw they were set to self-destruct. In the moments before his death, Tevin thought of his time with his mother, including watching her cook and when they both witnessed Lina's death.[1]

Personality and traits[]

As a citizen of E'ronoh, the woman often visited a watchtower on the planet to wait for the safe return of the enlisted soldiers, including her son Bly Tevin. Although she was loyal to E'ronoh, she also wished to glimpse the turquoise seas of Eiram at least once. The woman cared deeply for both of her children, happy to see them enjoying their play even as she struggled to feed their family with meager rations. She was also religious and prayed to E'ronoh's gods. Tevin thought highly of his mother, considering her the primary reason he enlisted to fight against Eiram—to protect his family. By the time of the war between E'ronoh and Eiram, she had a thin appearance.[1]

Behind the scenes[]
