During the occupation of the Twi'lek colony on the planet of Aaloth, the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Quellus, who served as an emissary of the Sith Empire, was dispatched to conquer the world and incorporate it to the Sith dominion within the galaxy. Utilizing the power of the dark side of the Force and his gauntlet, Darth Quellus extinguished all bonfires in the settlements that were previously employed to repel Aaloth's predatory creatures. Additionally he compelled the Twi'lek population to constuct a stronghold, thereby solidifying his control and asserting his authority over the planet.^[2]

In response to the Sith Lord's oppressive rule, a resistance group emerged and engaged in numerous battles against him. Despite thier efforts, the attack on the stronghold ultimately proved unsuccessful. Compelled to yield to Darth Quellus' authority, the Twi'leks reluctantly returned to their villages. However, hope was reignited when the elder Silana devised pouches containing flammable materials and distribured them to the rebellious Twi'leks. Unfortunately, her actions were discovered, and she was captured with the intention of being executed by Darth Quellus. Learing of this imminent threat, the Twi'leks rallied once more, launching a daring assault on again the stronghold. Their concentrated efforts resulted in a massive fire that forced Darth Quellus to retreat Aaloth, abandoning his hold over the planet.^[2]
