Ne Ganna Dateel Jabba was a bas-relief representing Jabba the Hutt with seven slaves. It decorated one of the walls of the Hutt's luxury sail barge. Although the piece was initially thought to have been destroyed along with Jabba's barge in 4 ABY, it actually survived across three decades to wind up in Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities on the planet Batuu.

Description[]

Ne Ganna Dateel Jabba was a bas-relief of roughly rectangular shape that depicted Jabba Desilijic Tiure, the Tatooine-based Hutt crime lord, in the company of seven female humanoid slaves, under what appeared to be a tent or a canopy. Jabba was represented resting contentedly, a large thin-necked jug in his right hand, and cradling the head of one of his reclining slaves with his left hand. A second slave crouched near Jabba's right hand, leaning against his belly, while a third and fourth slaves sat near the Hutt's tail. A fifth girl was shown resting her head in her palm, her elbow on a high table bearing three jugs. Finally, a sixth and seventh slave girls stood behind their master, holding fans.[2]

History[]

By 4 ABY,[3] the bas-relief decorated one of the walls of the Khetanna, Jabba's LO-KD57 luxury sail barge. When the barge was destroyed due to the actions of Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Lando Calrissian to rescue Han Solo,[1] Ne Ganna Dateel Jabba was presumed lost. However, by the time of the Cold War, the bas-relief still existed, and had fallen in the hands of the Ithorian collector Dok-Ondar, who put it in his Den of Antiquities in Black Spire Outpost, on the planet Batuu.[2]
