Markon was a general who served in the 201st Squadron of the Galactic Empire's Imperial Army.[1] Between 19 BBY and 14 BBY,[2] the 201st Squadron visited the[1] Outer Rim Territories[3] planet Zeffo. Under the orders of Imperial Code 94364, Markon placed an eviction notice in a village on the planet as a means to relocate the inhabitants and further Project Auger, an Imperial project with the objective of excavating the ancient artifacts on Zeffo. The villagers that complied with the order were sent off to labor camps, while those who did not were shot and killed.[1]
