Level 5127 was a level on the metropolitan world of Coruscant, so named because it was located five thousand, one hundred, and twenty-seven levels from the planet's ground. Galactic City comprised the entirety of Level 5127. In the waning years of the Galactic Republic, it was the highest surface level on Coruscant.^[1] During the reign of the Galactic Empire, Level 5127 notably hosted the COMPNOR arcology.^[6]

Behind the scenes[]

In the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, Coruscant was erroneously mentioned as having a Level 5217 instead of a Level 5127. This was corrected in later releases.^[7] Contrary to other sources, the 2021 novel The High Republic: Light of the Jedi erroneously states that Level 5216 was the uppermost level of Coruscant.^[8]
