- "You get to choose your opponent. You get to pick the racer. You get to select the instrument of your own fiery destruction."
- ―Jak Sivrak, to Kazuda Xiono
Jak Sivrak was a Troig male who lived during the era of the New Republic. Sivrak served as the announcer of the races that were held on the Colossus refueling platform on the ocean planet of Castilon.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Jak Sivrak is a character created and developed for the Star Wars Resistance animated series, and is voiced by Greg Proops, who previously voiced Fode in The Phantom Menace and Tal Merrik in The Clone Wars. Sivrak's name is a play on the name Lak Sivrak.[3] Sivrak was first pictured in Star Wars Adventures (2017) 16's first accompanying story, "All Aces Battle Royale," which published on December 19, 2018.[1] While not identified in the comic itself, Chris Wyatt confirmed the depiction was intended to be Sivrak in the script.[4]
