The Imperial Headquarters was located on the Outer Rim Territories planet Zeffo. It served as the Galactic Empire's base of operations during their occupation of the planet. It was located on the cliffside of what appeared to be a mountain and featured a landing pad. The landing pad was the site of a battle between Stormtroopers, and Scout troopers verses a Jotaz.^[1]

In 14 BBY^[2], Cal Kestis fought against stormtroopers, scout troopers and a Jotaz at the landing pad.^[1]

Close to the area was the underground Tomb of Miktrull, the Weathered Monument and the Crash Site. The compound was protected by various stormtroopers, scout troopers and later purge troopers. In 14 BBY, while trying to find the Imperial Dig Site, Kestis and his companion droid, BD-1 came across the area. Later, both of them returned after raising the spire of the Tomb of Miktrull.^[1]

After Kestis raised the spire of the Tomb of Miktrull, he upgraded BD-1 at a workbench in the Imperial Headquarters compound by adding a Slice: Probe Droid Module.^[1]
