"Hot Day Hijinks" is a non-canon animated LEGO short released on August 5, 2022 on the LEGO YouTube channel. It is part of both LEGO Star Wars Summer Shorts[1] and LEGO STAR WARS: Celebrate the Season.[2]

Official description[]

Boba Fett and Fennec Shand help the Tatooine townsfolk of Mos Eisley cool off on a hot day.[3]

Plot summary[]

In Mos Eisley, residents swelter under the summer heat of Tatooine's twin suns. Younglings play with water cannons but quickly run out of water. A resident spits out a caf-like drink served by a Tusken Raider. A lady's umbrella meanwhile catches fire. Fennec Shand exits a building, finding it hot. A boy comes to her with an empty cup of water but she is unable to help. Shand contacts Boba Fett by hologram.

Later, Fett and his entourage including the two Gamorrean guards arrive in his starship Slave I with large blocks of ice for the residents. Working with the residents, Fett and his minions use the ice blocks to build a giant ice slide for the children to slide down. Other residents enjoy icy drinks. Fett also slides down to demonstrate but slips and falls down. Fett gets up and laughs, reassuring them that he is unharmed.
