For other uses, see Falk (disambiguation).

Falk was a Human who grew up on the streets of the city Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine with the Rodian Doda Bodonawieedo as a companion. A daring and mischievous lad whose troublesome activities only became more dangerous and criminal as he grew older, Falk would in time form the Shawpee Gang, which began as small-time hoodlums committing minor crimes before the gang's criminal activities advanced as they grew older.

By 0 BBY, both Falk and Bodonawieedo left the Shawpees to join Tatooine crime lord Jabba the Hutt's gang, with Falk becoming a runner for the Hutt's henchman Bib Fortuna. However, Falk's service would ultimately end with his life when he was caught eavesdropping on a conversation between Jabba and Fortuna and was summarily executed as a result.

Biography[]

The Human male Falk grew up in the planet Tatooine's spaceport city Mos Eisley. In his youth, Falk was the Rodian Doda Bodonawieedo's primary playing companion.[2] With Falk and Bodonawieedo being inseparable,[3] the former would bring the latter into plots to steal ronto barbecue steaks from street vendors and to engage in the act of frocking Jawas.[2]

In time, Falk's stunts grew more dangerous and criminal. By the time he and Bodonawieedo reached adolescence, Falk had gathered other youths and formed the Shawpee Gang.[2] Comprised of small-time hoodlums who prowled Mos Eisley's streets,[4] the Shawpees were initially content with break-ins, muggings, and fighting with rival gangs, before growing older, and forming ties with Mos Eisley's criminal underworld. The gang further moved into protection rackets, running numbers and spice, and fencing operations. Bodonawieedo got by through his friendship with Falk and talents as a minstrel while remaining relatively free of criminal activity.[2]

By 0 BBY,[1] Falk and Bodonawieedo left the Shawpees to join crime lord Jabba the Hutt's gang, which was also based on Tatooine. Having first drifted into one of Jabba's satellite operations, the pair in time went to the Hutt's palace to seek their fortunes there.[2] Bodonawieedo found his music was popular with Jabba's Gamorrean guards,[3] while Falk had a promising start as a runner for the Hutt's henchman Bib Fortuna. However, when Falk eavesdropped on a conversation between the Hutt and Fortuna, he was caught and summarily executed. Bodonawieedo, who was not present at the time, was spared after another Rodian, Greedo, spoke out on his behalf.[2] At some point, the Shawpee Gang, which Falk had left to join Jabba's organization, had itself fallen in with the Hutt's empire, prior to Jabba being killed in 4 ABY's Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon.[3]
