Eugroothwa^[2] was a Wookiee male who fought alongside the Galactic Republic against the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the latter's attempt to invade the Wookiee species' homeworld of Kashyyyk^[1] in the year 19 BBY.^[3] He had brown hair and wore an orange bandolier of blaster gas canisters clasped with a bejewelled tribal crest over a brown tunic.^[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Eugroothwa first appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith,^[1] which was released on May 19, 2005.^[4] The Wookiee did not receive a name in the film,^[1] but was identified in the Star Wars Legends reference book Dressing a Galaxy: The Costumes of Star Wars, which was written by Trisha Biggar and released on October 1, 2005.^[5] The name was confirmed to be canon in the reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia, which was written by Adam Bray, Tricia Barr and Cole Horton^[2] and released on April 4, 2017.^[6]
