Dradans were a type of species that existed in the galaxy. After witnessing the deceased body of the Whiphid criminal J'Rea, Jonram Dremel stated her body was dead like a Dradan.^[1]

In the current Star Wars canon, Dradan was mentioned in "The Creature from the Trash Compactor," the second story in the graphic novel Tales from the Death Star, written by Cavan Scott and published by Dark Horse Comics^[1] on October 17, 2023.^[2] The Dradan originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game book Domain of Evil.^[3]
