Daylilies were a type of lily. When Jedi younglings Tep Tep, Kildo, and Gavi introduced themselves to Padawan Ram Jomaram on the Outer Rim planet Valo^[1] in 229 BBY,^[2] the Padawan noticed that the former two gravitated toward the latter as their leader, similar to daylilies turning toward the sun.^[1]

Daylilies were mentioned in Escape from Valo, a 2024 junior novel written by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[1] Phase III.^[3]
