Cad Bane's Munificent-class star frigate

The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A Munificent-class star frigate was placed under the command of bounty hunter Cad Bane during the Clone Wars. Bane had been hired by Darth Sidious, the Dark Lord of the Sith, to retrieve a crystal containing the names of every Force-sensitive child known to the Jedi Order from its keeper, Jedi Master Bolla Ropal. In order to facilitate his mission, Sidious, as the secret leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, ordered Separatist Council member Nute Gunray to give Bane the ship and an army of battle droids.^[1]

When Galactic Republic forces led by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker infiltrated the ship, the self-destruct mechanism was initiated. The ship ultimately exploded, although the Republic forces were able to escape. Bane himself escaped after killing the clone troopers Koho and Denal, taking the latter's armor and sneaking aboard amongst the Republic survivors.^[1]
