Blue dwarves were a classification of star that was small and blue in color. One such blue dwarf was Asar, the star of the Ilum system. Asar was considered "exceedingly bright" for its star type.[1] The astrological signs Ai and Genry, from the astrological systems of Shili and Coruscant respectively, were marked by the formation of blue dwarves nearby, and people born under them would allegedly possess wisdom, charisma and exceptional virility.[2]
