During the war between the Fett gotra and the Pyke Syndicate on the planet Tatooine, the gotra's Master Assassin Fennec Shand undertook a mission to assassinate the enemy leadership in an attempt to stop the syndicate's invasion of the city Mos Espa. The leadership was based in the spaceport Mos Eisley's Desert Survey Office. Shand was successful, eliminating the heads of all the Mos Espa crime families, the Pyke boss and his guards, as well as the corrupt Mayor of Mos Espa Mok Shaiz, who had allied himself with the Pyke Syndicate. With Fett's victory, his ally Din Djarin left Tatooine^[1] and eventually reunited with a Mandalorian covert, which was attacked by a dinosaur turtle.^[2]
