Asajj Ventress's lightsaber^[4] was a yellow-bladed lightsaber wielded by the bounty hunter Asajj Ventress during the Imperial Era.^[1] Previously, she had wielded another yellow lightsaber during the Clone Wars after losing her twin red lightsabers to the fallen Jedi Barriss Offee. However, that lightsaber was laid to rest with her on^[5] her homeworld^[3] of Dathomir^[5] after her apparent death^[6] in the second battle of Christophsis.^[3] While that lightsaber had a straight hilt, which helped distance herself from her previous life as Count Dooku's apprentice,^[5] the lightsaber she came to wield during the Imperial Era had a curved hilt^[1] similar to her old twin red lightsabers.^[7]

Behind the scenes[]

The second yellow lightsaber of Asajj Ventress was first pictured in The Bad Batch Season 3 trailer as part of Ventress's reveal,^[8] which established that Ventress survived her apparent death in the novel Dark Disciple.^[6] The lightsaber made its formal first appearance in the episode "The Harbinger."^[1]
