Ak-rev was a male Weequay who played as a drummer in the Max Rebo Band, whose second drummer was Umpass-stay. He was a bodyguard to Jabba the Hutt.

Biography[]

Ak-rev was a male Weequay who was a drummer in the Max Rebo Band, alongside fellow drummer Umpass-stay. He was also a bodyguard to the crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure.

In the year 4 ABY,[6] Ak-rev and the other members of the band played at the palace of Jabba the Hutt on the planet Tatooine. The band played "Jedi Rocks" for the Hutt, who ordered it played a second time but then dropped the enslaved dancer Oola into his rancor's pit during the repeat performance when she refused his advances. Ak-rev and the band stopped playing as Oola was eaten by the rancor, and then witnessed the arrival of Princess Leia Organa disguised as the bounty hunter Boushh with the Wookiee Chewbacca as a prisoner.[2]

Personality and traits[]

Ak-rev was a beefy[7] Weequay with brown hair and brown skin.[3]

Behind the scenes[]
