The 15th Deep Core Reserve Fleet was an Imperial Navy reserve fleet that was in service to the Galactic Empire during the rule of Emperor Palpatine,[1] which lasted from 19 BBY to 4 ABY.[2] The fleet was placed under the command of Admiral Yzu.[1]
Due to the strategic nature of Empress Teta's resources, as well as its position as a gateway to the Deep Core, the planet was used as an important stronghold by the Empire. As a result, official documents reported that the 15th Deep Core Reserve Fleet's Star Destroyers and support ships were conducting customs enforcement patrols to fight against smugglers and pirates in the area. Despite that, the fleet's duties also included operating a hyperspace interdiction checkpoint along the only known hyperspace route between the Empress Teta system and the interior of the Deep Core.[1]

The 15th Deep Core Reserve Fleet was mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the 2016 Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars: Force and Destiny roleplaying game sourcebook, Nexus of Power.[1] It was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends continuity in the 1995 West End Games Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game boxed set The DarkStryder Campaign.[3]
