"I don't know who or what is after them, but if we don't find them first, we may lose more than just eight minutes."
- -- Janeway
Background information[]
Title[]
- The episode's title references the Star Trek: The Original Series Season 3 episode, "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" which itself took its title from a line in the poem "Jordan (I)" by 17th century English poet and clergyman George Herbert. Both episodes focus on a Medusan character with "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" being where the species was first introduced.
