Gayle Frank is an actress who appeared as an Enterprise sciences crewmember in the recreation deck scene in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. She received no credit for this appearance.
Frank is the sister of fellow actress Elena Frank. She is known as "the queen of the stenographers" as she owned her own stenograph machine which she brought with her to the sets as she was cast very often as court stenographer in the 1980s.
