Peter White (10 October 19371 November 2023; age 86) was an actor who played Sharat in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second season episode "Armageddon Game".

Career[]

White made guest appearances in many other popular television shows, including The X-Files (with Tom Virtue and Juliana Donald), The West Wing, and NYPD Blue. His biggest acting role was as Lincoln "Linc" Tyler in All My Children, a role he played for more than thirty years.

His motion picture credits include The Boys in the Band (1970, with Laurence Luckinbill), Dave (1993, with Frank Langella, Stephen Root, Dan Butler, Parley Baer, Stefan Gierasch, Charles Hallahan, Dawn Arnemann, Dendrie Taylor, Paul Collins, Robin Gammell, Tory Christopher, and Pam Pruitt-McGeary), Mr. Wrong (1996), Armageddon (1998), and Thirteen Days (2000, starring Jack Blessing and Steven Culp).

White died of melanoma on 1 November 2023.
