Adolphus Hankins (10 March 1941 – 8 August 2010; age 69) was an actor who appeared as a maiden voyage official in Star Trek Generations. He also appeared as a vice admiral in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Pathfinder". His uniform from this episode was previously worn by Anthony Zerbe as Dougherty in Star Trek: Insurrection and was later sold off on the web. [1] [2] Hankins also wore the admiral's uniform jacket previously worn by Tucker Smallwood in the fifth season episode "In the Flesh" and by background actor Ron Blohm on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The jacket was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [3]

Hankins was married to fellow actress Betty Hankins until his death in 2010. Betty Hankins, known for her recurring appearance on Power Rangers Lost Galaxy in 1999, passed away in 2016.

In 1987, Hankins appeared as a cop in the Falcon Crest sixth season episode "Chain Reaction". The episode also features Robert Foxworth, Brett Cullen, Dana Sparks, Rodney Saulsberry, and Christopher Held. In the seventh season, he appeared as a party guest and nightclub patron in the episode "Twist and Shout" (1987, with Dana Sparks, Theodore Bikel, Leroy Hardy, Buzz Barbee, Kevin G. Tracey, Lee Faranda, and his wife Betty) and as a hotel guest in the episode "The Uncertainty Principle" (1987, with Brett Cullen, Dana Sparks, Christopher Held, Kevin Tracey, Joe Stone, John Copage, Gene Poe, and his wife Betty). He also appeared in three eighth season episodes of Falcon Crest, as a bank employee in "Dinner at Eight" (1989, with Christopher Held, Lee Bergere, Roberta Storm, Buzz Barbee, and John Hugh McKnight) and "And Baby Makes Three" (1989, with Christopher Held, Lee Bergere, Morgan Nagler, Judith Jones, Buck McDancer, and Jim Michael) and as a hospital orderly in "The Vigil" (1989, with Castulo Guerra, Christopher Held, Robert Ito, Michèle Marsh, Eric Menyuk, Michael Chong, Ivonne Perez, Faith Burton, Roberta Storm, and Bob Davis). In addition, Hankins appeared as a bar patron in the Dynasty episode "Images" (1988, with Joan Collins, Daniel Davis, Lavelle Roby, Richard Sarstedt, Walter Smith, and an unknown actor) and as a hotel guest in the Cheers episode "Mr. Otis Regrets" (1990, with Kirstie Alley, Kelsey Grammer, Bebe Neuwirth, Joey Banks, Keith Rayve, Joycelyn Robinson, Don Bennett, Jay Crimp, Nyra Crenshaw, Lorine Mendell, Rebecca Soladay, and John Hugh McKnight).

They also appeared as audience members at the Tony Awards in The Nanny episode "The Nanny & the Hunk Producer" (1997, with Daniel Davis), as restaurant patrons in the Titans episode "Dysfuntion Junction" (2000, with Suzanne Lodge), as laughing spectators during Austin's accolade by the Queen in Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002, with Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr., Clint Howard, Greg Grunberg, Kelly Cooper, Angela Meryl, Dan Warner, and Marvin De Baca), and as restaurant patrons in the Two and a Half Men episode "The Price of Healthy Gums Is Eternal Vigilance" (2004, stunt coordination by Eddie Braun).

Hankins passed away on 8 August 2010 at the age of 69. [4]
