Died on April 2, 2017 at age 102
Mr. Litwin was a rental-property developer who began with his father’s Depression-era plant nursery on Long Island, built a New York City residential real estate empire and paid millions to Republican and Democratic leaders to ensure tax breaks, government financing and favorable rent laws.
