"I daresay once you've flown her you will be hard-pressed to go back to more standard haulers."
―Xylan Graf, to Sylvestri Yarrow[1]

The Vengeful Goddess was an experimental starship constructed by the Graf family's company during the High Republic Era. Built at a Graf-owned shipyard on Corellia, the Goddess was initially owned by family scion Xylan Graf, and kept at the Graf compound near Neral's moon. It was intended as a prototype for a design the Grafs hoped to sell to the Republic security forces. When Xylan took four Jedi, the pilot Sylvestri Yarrow, and Jordanna Sparkburn on a mission to investigate the Berenge sector, he promised that Yarrow would get to fly the ship after it had been picked up. However, the mission was in actuality an ambush, kickstarting a series of events which led the Galactic Republic to learn that the Grafs were involved with the Nihil pirates which had been causing trouble throughout the Outer Rim Territories. Much of the Grafs' assets were frozen, but on the orders of his grandmother Catriona, Xylan signed the Goddess over to Yarrow, leaving it on Coruscant for her to pick up, as well as leaving directions so Yarrow and Sparkburn, who accompanied her, would go to Takodana and seek employment from Maz Kanata.[1]
