Wookiees-Transparent

Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

For an optimal viewing experience, Wookieepedia recommends using the Monobook skin. For help changing your skin preference, see Help:Skin.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on [[User talk:Imperators II(Talk) 11:33, January 15, 2018 (UTC)|my talk page]]. May the Force be with you! —{{{2}}}

Creating new articles[]

Hi! Please see how your recently created articles are formatted now to get an idea of what's expected on the site and so that other editors don't have to fix every page you create. Thanks, Imperators II(Talk) 11:33, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

  • Please read the Layout Guide. Add infoboxes for the articles that need one, source if you can and add categories please. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 07:54, January 24, 2018 (UTC)
    • Again, please read the layout guide and follow what has been said to you already, thanks --Lewisr (talk) 23:28, June 10, 2018 (UTC)
      • Again, read the Layout guide--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 00:00, June 11, 2018 (UTC)

Really, stop ignoring and read the Layout guide--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:13, June 11, 2018 (UTC)

Read the Layout Guide[]

Please read the layout guide so other editors don't need to fix all your additions. Also no speculation, you can't deduce that a planet exist. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 08:22, January 24, 2018 (UTC)

Videos[]

Hi ChrisGraslie. Please be aware that we do not allow video uploads of any kind on Wookieepedia. Ayrehead02 (talk) 19:50, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

Legends pages[]

Hi Chris! I would ask that you stop creating Legends pages for sequel trilogy subjects that appear in Star Tours. Just because something is non-canon, as Star Tours is, doesn't mean it's Legends. Legends may be non-canon, but it's its own continuity and not everything non-canon falls under that banner. If something is Legends, it will be explicitly labeled as such. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 03:55, February 1, 2018 (UTC)

Uploading[]

While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images, which can be found under the "other policies and guidelines" link in your welcome message, and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. Wikia's non-standard upload forms are not supported under Wookieepedia policy, and ignorance of the uploading rules is not an acceptable excuse. Continued violation of the image policy or falsification of any information in an upload description are considered vandalism and will likely result in a block. Thank you. 1358 (Talk) 22:42, February 1, 2018 (UTC)

Sourcing, Read the guide[]

Please stop creating pages that don't meet with the standars of the Layout Guide. Add categories, the eras template, the correct format for the infoboxes and text. Also don't copy-paste or add the template IMDB or Wikipedia if the actor/actress doesn't have a page in those pages. Also read the Upload guide so your images stopo being deleted. Ignoring this messages will most likely get you blocked. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:19, June 11, 2018 (UTC)

Need any help?[]

Hey Chris. I see that you've gotten a number of warnings from other users. If you need any help figuring out how to make sure that the entries you contribute meet all of Wookieepedia's policies, let me know and I'd be happy to help. I wouldn't want to see you get blocked! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 05:12, June 11, 2018 (UTC)

Warning[]

While good faith edits are appreciated, you need to familiarize yourself with the Manual of Style and Layout Guide. If other editors need to clean up all of your additions, and you don't make an effort to review Wookieepedia's policies, you'll likely be blocked. - Cwedin(talk) 17:24, March 1, 2019 (UTC)

Copy-pasting[]

Do not copy-paste content from Legends articles into canon articles. Your addition to R7-A7 was a copy paste from its the Legends article, with just a couple of words removed. If you want to add content, re-write it completely--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 05:34, January 8, 2020 (UTC)

Link[]

Like this, Thanks.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 09:06, January 11, 2020 (UTC)

  • Hey, thank you and sorry about that. I'm using visual editor to edit, and I wasn't aware that the link was being written differently that way. I'll make sure to remember that. Also, thanks for your patience with me. I've gotten a number of messages and warnings in the past and I feel like overall I'm doing better now even though I've made a few screwups recently.--ChrisGraslie (talk) 09:24, January 11, 2020 (UTC)
    • No worries, I would recommend you to change from Visual Editor to Source Editor. Its really easy to use can be changed from your Preferences. And we all have rough starts, but its good to know that you're learning from your mistakes. Keep up the good work. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 09:28, January 11, 2020 (UTC)

Once again, watch your edits--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:18, January 18, 2020 (UTC)

  • Yes, my apologies. Thanks for the reminder.--ChrisGraslie (talk) 04:21, January 18, 2020 (UTC)
    • No worries. It seems that Visual Editor is making all these weird formatting errors, I would recommend you to stop using that and edit using the Source Editor, that way you can see the formatting of your edits.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:25, January 18, 2020 (UTC)
      • Yeah, it's strange. I'm more used to using Visual Editor on other wikis but just to be safe I'll be using Source Editor here from now on so it doesn't mess up the links anymore.--ChrisGraslie (talk) 04:30, January 18, 2020 (UTC)
        • Thanks! If you have any questions let me know--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:39, January 18, 2020 (UTC)
        • One last thing, there must be a space between the appearances and the non-canon appearances. Like this. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:54, January 18, 2020 (UTC)

Galaxy of Heroes[]

You can read here the following "We will now treat Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes content as canon in subjects' respective continuities. For example, if subject A is Legends/SWTOR, we will treat the information originated in the app as canon within Legends; if subject B is originated in a new canon material, or made its first appearance in the app, we will treat the information originated in the app as canon."--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 00:53, January 24, 2020 (UTC)

  • Okay, so if I'm understanding correctly that means the game itself is non-canon but any new information presented for Canon and Legends is treated as canon?--ChrisGraslie (talk) 01:14, January 24, 2020 (UTC)
    • Gameplay is not canon. Characters are canon for their respective continuity.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 01:24, January 24, 2020 (UTC)

Warning[]

Imdb is not a valid source for Nicholas Ferguson, please go ahead an add an appropiate source. Do not use Imdb as the only source of an article. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 03:42, April 4, 2020 (UTC)

  • I added the only source that I could find, for some reason it's impossible to find any information about Nick Ferguson and his IMDb shows his only credit as being Episode III. The Star Wars Canon Wiki says he's from Australia but I couldn't find anything to back that up. At least it has a source now even if it's just one. My apologies, thanks again for your patience.--ChrisGraslie (talk) 06:11, April 4, 2020 (UTC)

Donovia[]

Hi, Could you please provide me with the page in the Star Wars: The Complete Visual Dictionary, New Edition where it says that Donovia was a planet or a location? The only sentence that I found was "Donovian rainmen repair signal towers in all weather conditions", this doesn't confirm anything as a location--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:45, April 12, 2020 (UTC)

  • I couldn't find any futher information so it seems like that's the only mention. Even though the rainmen appear to be human it's not assumed that they're human until it's actually said so, right? I'm only asking this because if "Donovian" isn't a species and the rainmen are human then I suppose it could be narrowed down to at least being a location?--ChrisGraslie (talk) 04:55, April 12, 2020 (UTC)
    • The name could be for a group of people. The article currently is speculation.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:59, April 12, 2020 (UTC)
      • Should it be marked for deletion, then? Until more information is given?--ChrisGraslie (talk) 05:01, April 12, 2020 (UTC)
        • Yes, since the term hasn't been used. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 05:04, April 12, 2020 (UTC)

Day-at-a-time-calendar[]

Hey, MegaZeph! Based on your edits to the page, it seems you own a copy of Star Wars Day-at-a-Time Calendar 2020? Editoronthewiki (talk) 18:23, 31 October 2021 (UTC)

  • I do! Need any specific information from it? (Apologies for the late response.)--MegaZeph (talk) 07:21, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
