The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

"If you do not cooperate with me, Moff Sarne will most definitely draw the information he wants from you using drugs…or worse."
"I'm not blowing my friends' cover, fish-face. Sarne's going to send out his troopers to gun them down if I tell where they're hiding out."
―Doctor Akanseh and the resistance fighter, during his interrogation[1]

A Human male resistance fighter was allied with a group that operated on the planet Kal'Shebbol during the early years of the New Republic. He was captured by forces loyal to the local Imperial warlord, Moff Kentor Sarne, and questioned by Akanseh, a Mon Calamari doctor who had been forced to work for the Moff as an interrogator and torturer. The resistance fighter refused to reveal the location of his friends, or their plans, despite the threat of pain being inflicted on his person in an effort to make him cooperate.

Biography[]

"Try administering these, my friend—I'm sure we'll find this scoundrel's attitude changes rather quickly when he feels his blood boiling within his veins."
―Moff Sarne, to Akanseh, referring to the resistance fighter[1]

During the early years of the New Republic, a Human male was part of a resistance group based on Kal'Shebbol, rebelling against Imperial warlord Moff Kentor Sarne's rule of the planet. At some point, the resistance fighter was wounded and captured by the Moff's forces and taken to a detention block for interrogation. Restrained in a strap-chair, the man met his interrogator, a Mon Calamari doctor named Akanseh. Although Akanseh abhorred causing pain in others, the Moff forced him to use his medical techniques for interrogation against his will. Rather than torturing his charges, Akanseh attempted to gain their trust and persuade them to reveal their secrets to him. The resistance fighter had his wounds treated by Akanseh while the Mon Calamari implored him to reveal the location of his fellow rebels and their plans. The resistance fighter, however, would not reveal any information to Akanseh. He knew that if he revealed the location of his compatriots, the Moff would send his soldiers to eliminate them.[1]

Sarne interrupted the interrogation, flanked by two guards, claiming to be performing a surprise inspection on Akanseh's skills. Akanseh once again tried to get the resistance fighter to reveal the location of his friends, noting that he could no longer guarantee that he would be unharmed. The man again refused to betray his fellow rebels. Sarne offered a hypo-syringe to Akanseh, stating that the resistance fighter would not be as stubborn once the contents started to make his blood boil in his veins. When Akanseh visibly hesitated in administering the liquid, one of the Moff's guards produced a second hypo-syringe with the same contents. Sarne implied that if Akanseh failed to get the required information from the man, then he would have the doctor share his charge's pain, and that the concoction was vastly more potent on Mon Calamari physiology than it was on Human.[1]

Personality and traits[]

"Blow off, fish-face. No way I'm betraying my friends."
―The resistance fighter, to Akanseh[1]

During his time in Akanseh's care, the resistance fighter displayed a cocky and stubborn attitude, refusing to give away the location of his fellow resistance fighters, even when faced with the threat of torture. He openly defied his interrogator, Akanseh, insulting him to his face by referring to the Mon Calamari as "fish-face."[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The resistance fighter appeared in the short story Spot Inspection, which was published in The DarkStryder Campaign, published by West End Games in 1995.[1]
