"We said we'd drink something local from everywhere we kill a Jedi. Believe it or not, this is the best that horrible planet had to offer."
―Thirteenth Sister[1]

A planet covered in deserts was located somewhere in the galaxy. It was known for the alcoholic beverage known as dust juice. Eeth Koth hid on the planet during the Great Jedi Purge, but was hunted down and killed by Darth Vader.

History[]

During the Great Jedi Purge, the former Jedi Master Eeth Koth went into hiding on this planet along with his wife, Mira. While on the planet, Koth became a priest in the Church of the Ganthic Enlightenment.[1]

Sometime after they went into hiding, Mira gave birth a baby, but the couple were discovered by Darth Vader, who had hunted Koth to the planet along with three Inquisitors. Koth dueled with Vader, as Mira escaped into the city with her child. The Inquisitors searched the city for Mira, and she was found by[1] Thirteenth Sister.[2] The Inquisitor let Mira board her father's shuttle, but then used the Force to pull the baby out of the craft and back onto the ground. The Inquisitors returned to Vader, who was still dueling Koth. When Koth noticed that they had successfully taken his child, he became distracted, allowing Vader to kill him. Vader and the Inquisitors left the planet and returned to Coruscant on a Zeta-class shuttle.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The planet first appeared in Darth Vader (2017) 19, a comic written by Charles Soule, penciled by Giuseppe Camuncoli, and published by Marvel Comics[1] on August 8, 2018.[3]
